For a team that had to pull out a win against Ole Miss and can't seem to stop air on defense, the A&M fans do seem a little too cocky.

Since you take away the two plays that were completely blown coverage (i.e., no defensive player covering them whatsoever) -- Sanders' 70 yarder and Walton's 50 yarder -- and you have OM with:

133 yards rushing
213 yards passing

Our defense isn't as bad as we're perfectly happy having everyone believe. If we have Deshazor back healthy on Saturday, and Floyd Raven on first team defense all week, the defense might just click on the barners this weekend. Not 62-10 click, but close.

No way Auburn should win this game, but I'm damn excited they can.

If they do win, it's entirely possible a 10-1 Auburn team shows up at the Iron Bowl. Not because Auburn is that good, but because Georgia is that beat up.

Auburn looks really good. Solid defense, great running game, and a sense of confidence. I hope they can trip up A&M.

Both teams are definitely going to put up some points. I could see it being very similar to the TAMU OM game. Whoever gets the ball last. AU's freshman dlinemen will be the key to containing JM. They have some speed. Ellis Johnson also has to realize that Jake Holland just straight up isnt going to help the team.

How has Justin Garrett performed this year?

he's not playing... ankle injury. Rob Therezie has been the main guy at the hybrid position (pick six against OM) and will have to play well if we're to slow down JFF.

He hasn't played so Gus burned a Rs on a safety this week.

He's hurt. But Anthony swain has been playing real solid. I'm honestly not sure why he or frost hasn't gotten the start over holland

Swain may not be a MLB, I honestly can't remember, but I'd still rather have him on the field

Swain backs up Cass McKinzy at the strong side LB spot, not Middle... Holland and Frost play MLB, IIRC.

Our defense will let teams stay close. Every game we play bis going to come down to who gets a few stops and turnovers.

"If only they didn't have their best players" is such a popular sentiment on this board, why not?

If Everett and Raven are both healthy, I like our chances. Hopefully McKinney remembers he can run the damn ball

will they be healthy?

Auburn may be the best offense A&M's faced to this point, fwiw.

Malzhan gave up 500 yards to Ole Miss and he knows that offense like his own. Ole Miss had no Johnny Manzeil either.

A&M offense is going to curbstomp AU defense.

We will score at will.

The thing is even though your offense is good. It's going to make a mental error (dropped pass, penalty, etc.). The game is gonna feel like (because you are) moving the ball at will but at the end of the day it just wont be enough to keep pace IMO.
