I've seen lots of really good, inspirational stuff from lsu fans this week. Poems, videos, emotional and mystical reasons of why they can win this game.

But the boogeyman is coming. Hide your wives and children.

I'd actually be shocked if it doesn't come down to the wire.

1)Vegas (if you understand the lines) thinks it's going to be very close. They made Bama a smaller favorite than anybody expected, and even with 95 percent of the money coming in on Bama, they are barely moving the line any.

2)We always play like crap on offense down there. We come out so tight (for whatever reason) that we can barely function on that side of the ball until late in the game. Some credit to their defense. We need to not be so stinking tight, though.

I'm a big believer in trends until it's proven otherwise. I expect the game to be in a position where it could go either way at the end. Just hope the Tide comes out on top.

Etling is not the type of QB to beat us. And I think our D can hold LSU to season low rushing numbers.

31-14 Tide

But Auburn is the team I'm afraid of most.

First of all yes LSU has a small chance to beat Bama this year. But Auburns chances are even smaller. The difference being Alabama plays LSU in Baton rouge.

Truth. Although isn't this Bama defense more equipped to stop spread teams? Isn't that what Saban has been trying to do lately?

Have you seen us against the run this year? Pretty great. We are very well balanced at this point in the year on D.

Anyone else on here think that the ugly red color of the red team's jerseys won't be as ugly on Saturday as it has always been?

A 7pt dog wins about 25% of the time and at 10pts its about 20%. So, LSU has between 20-25% chance of winning.

I think LSU is capable of taking the run away fromBama and forcing Hurts to beat them with his arm. If that happens the game can go any way.

This is probably the 10th thread today and the 200th thread in the past couple weeks that is exactly like this one. Talk about Bama fans being insecure as frick.

LSU had Bama beat with Anthony Jennings for all intents and purposes before imploding with a retard personal foul penalty. I love the Bama delusions.

Hurts is going to shine in the passing game Saturday and Bamas defense will shut down Fournette and welcome Etling to the SEC. I find it funny that LSU fans are hanging their hats on their prediction of Hurts being bothered by the noise and such at TS. Etling hasn't seen anything like he is going to see Saturday from Bamas D. OJ Howard will have a huge game as well. This , imo , will be the first big "statement" game for Hurts and there will be many , many to follow. 31-13 Bama

Haven't seen Etling throw the ball quite well enough to beat Bama. Without the really good passing threat, going to be tough.

Bama can't throw the ball very well either. LSU has plenty of D to shut Bama down.

I think the game is pretty close but LSU inability to throw the ball is going to eventually result in too many 3 and outs and the D is going to get worn out. Bama starts to pull away late in 3rd or 4th.

Bama has an edge in passing but it isn't that much. Just enough. I stayed away from this game in my ATS.

So Etling can't beat you but White can?

TS will be unleashed Saturday Night. IF LSU can get some momentum early, look out.
