Here, this should soothe the nerves for anyone who doesn't like all the God picking sides talk.

quote:

When Yogi Berra was a catcher for the New York Yankees, there was a ballplayer who always drew a cross in the ground next to home plate when he came to bat.

Finally, one day Berra, himself a devout Christian, reached over, wiped out the cross with his catcher’s mitt, and told the batter, “Why don’t you just let God watch the game?”

If you don't believe in God then none of this should even bother you, if you do believe in God then how about we just let Him watch the game... and don't be surprised if he lends a helping hand when Auburn needs it.

God has plans for Kristie Malzahn to become a real mother Teresa. Gus/AU are just the current benefactors of this plan.

Sure, Wallace purposely banked that pass off two UGA defenders into a not looking receivers hands, on the run.

Just goes to show that even though God wanted that fine Christian Mark Richt to win, even God can't fix stupid.

Maybe Saban is Job and God is allowing all these bad things (IB, Oklahoma) to happen top him to see if he will curse God.

Me too. I just thought Auburns season should open some eyes that never believed in a higher power.

I'm not saying God is choosing football over problems in Africa, or anything else. I don't think God has to pick which plan he will follow each day. I believe all things are planned out till the end of time. God has a plan for everyone and everything.

I'm not trying to convince people of this, I'm just explaining what I believe. Just to see if anyone else felt the same.
