I think its more jealousy than anything by Oregon fans because they could only dream of having a National Championship like LSU does.

And heres the true example of the biggest issue with the SEC. Fans of frickin Ole Miss are throwing Oregon under the bus. Why is an Ole Miss fan talking shite? When was the last time Ole Miss was worth a frick? Stop hanging on the coattails of the elite in the conference. Your garbage......go kneel in the corner and cry.

40-27, with the last td being against the 2nd string.
Oregon never even gave LSU a scare in that game. Posting stats from a game you lost is as pathetic as it gets. Oregon won't beat a quality SEC opponent. The southern boys grown down here are just too much for the rest of the nation.

Want to beat an SEC team, take a note from Texas and schedule one of the worst SEC teams.

Saying the Ducks "outplayed LSU" shows that you are either incrediably biased or dumb. The score was 40-20 with 14 seconds left in the game. That last TD came after a 70+ yrd drive, padding the stats you are so hung up on, against LSU's 2nd team defense. Consider that our 1st string QB did not even make the trip after being suspended. We had a starting OL out. As for turnovers, last time I checked, that is part of football & when they are forced, that is a credit to the defense.I am not saying that that type of offense is no good. I am simply stating a fact: no team that runs that type of offense, usually in coordination with a poor defense, has not won a NC yet.

Oregon is my #2 team. I interviewed with their Athletic Dept for an IT position back in 2000, and they treated me very well. All very nice people. Unfortunately, I didn't have any experience with their ticketing software, and they hired someone who did.

I've got a question for the Oregon fan who has been posting on this thread. I have heard in a number of Oregon broadcasts this season that Chip Kelly has learned a lot from the SEC defenses that he's lost to in recent seasons. No one ever goes beyond that statement though. What has he learned and changed as a result of those games?

Alabama has been #1 for going on six weeks this season. We've won two of the last three titles, and pushing for a third in four years. We've been in the title hunt every year since 2008. So naturally some media folks are going to question every little thing Alabama does. If we don't blow people out by 50 every game, they are going to suggest teams like Oregon, South Carolina, or Notre Dame may be as good or better. It's just the way it is.

Chip is recruiting jumbo athletes in droves. I don't think people realize that he went to the MNC with Belotti's recruits. The man has a vision and the realization of that vision will be in two years.

Btw, the offensive line and dlines are as big as we've ever had. The interior line is finally over 300 when we were 285. They are also a higher quality athlete.

Just because I hate them, let me remind you that UO tore Tenn open from a-hole to pussy at Tenn a few years ago.

We had one bad quarter against a scrappy OM team where we didn't do shite on O, but it's excusable.

I'll take the Oregon Ducks over anyone playing in the land this year! We can't change last year or the year before, so stop living in the past! It's this year that counts. As you can see, year after year we are one of the Best! This year we might be the best. See one of your teams in Miami in January.

I am assuming the poster is referring to the 21 points. Sorry that we go up 35-7 in the first half and our 2-3-walkons gave up 14 points with vanilla play calling.

It's probably hard to understand. Remember the garbage score Oregon got against LSU? Well, Oregon gives up a couple of scores every game.

Everyone here and every school in the SEC sucks on Bama balls, I would live to see the Ducks vs Bama for the Crystal.

Bama is y'all Flagship of the SEC and that's who I rather play! I am not talking about last year team ( Ducks) or the year before! I am talking about this team and this season! Stop hanging your hat on seasons that are long gone. What can your team do today? I am calling out the entire SEC. Lets talk about the here & now. Go Ducks!

Both Oregon and Bama haven't had a true test. It will be interesting to see Oregon vs SC and Bama go against one of the better conference teams.

Oregon / Bama would be a hell of a game. I still don't think Oregon would have a good way to prepare for Bama's power rushing attack as they just rarely see anything like it. Oregon would undoubtedly try to make it a numbers game by stacking the box, however, McCarron is good enough on play action to make teams pay for that.

On the flip side I think Oregon's offense would cause Bama problems on the edge and would score points. However, I also Kelley and the offense would get frustrated with how few possessions they are getting because Bama is shortening the game with ball control on offense. I think they would press a little too hard on offense, resulting in a couple of key mistakes that Bama is pretty good on capitalizing on which might be the difference in the game.

I would love to see the match up.
