I haven't heard McElroy much but his picks seem provocative yet he does a good job of explaining why he is picking who he is picking. He's very high on Auburn and South Carolina the year.
P.S. His picks do seem intentionally designed to stir the pot though. He rustled some serious jimmies on the TR.

See, right now - I'm trying to find the actual footage online since I didn't see it live. Anyone got the link? Perfect example of this benefitting McElroy though. But I do agree, don't belittle guests unless you want to go the route of Finebaum. Unless that's his plan all along?! Lots of money to be made and Finebaum is only getting older. Someone has gotta fill the shoes.

yeah because Saban has never responded to the media when they write something he doesn't agree with. he would never attack a reporter for something he said or wrote....

In my opinion, they both took jabs. The only difference is Les did it with McElroy in the room and it was in response to McElroy doing it behind his back.
