Yea aren't you and USC the only schools with men's soccer and compete in C-USA?

Women's lacrosse is very lame. Men's lacrosse is not, but Title IX won't let it (or any other men's sport) expand

Mizzou manages to field a wrestling team, as does about every B1G team. So it isn't impossible. It just costs money.
Well, yall do it at the expense of Mens Tennis. So to get wrestling we are looking at cutting a mens sport

How many do we need for the SEC to be able to sponsor the sport? 5 or 6?

We did just add sand volleyball, so we should be able to add another sport, no?

It's about participation instead of total number of sports. I don't know how many players are on a sand volleyball team, but probably not many.

Football makes it tough to expand men's sports because there are so many participants.

Some SECe schools are. Word on the street is that Ric Flair is going to be the HC for SC and Goldberg is going to be the HC UGA.

It's Happening!!!!

the gators will be coached by Chris Gillete, not a big name, but fricking fearless...or really stupid, we'll figure out later.

Not sure. I know that we have the largest Athletic Department in the conference and to have the women's soccer team.

I'm not sure what USCjr has sacrificed to make room for their women's soccer team. We never sacrificed any team to my knowledge. I'm not sure of the scholarship limits for all of the teams outside of baseball, football, basketball and women's basketball though.

4 equestrian teams

Guessing the threshold is between 25% and 50%

Would probably be easiest to add men's soccer. I don't really know what the dimensions are on a rugby or lacrosse field.

Don't think so.
Club sport?
This was all I could find:

The Texas A&M Wrestling Team is a prominent member of the National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA), the team has been recognized as a force to be reckoned with in the league.

The TAMU Wrestling Team is in the Southwest Conference of the NCWA, competing against other programs such as UT - Arlington, UT - Austin, Sam Houston State, Texas Tech, and many other squads.

TAMU Wrestling

the finances don't add up for any non-revenue sport. That's why they are called non-revenue.

Only if it includes folding chairs and masked men.

It works best with crooked managers, and I am guessing that would be a NCAA violation!
