what is this, the second or third transfer this offseason? you guys call us transferU?

Y'all want us to be transferU so bad but, the reality is the Tigers who are transferring are being replaced by upgrades. It was due to the fact these kids did not have room with the wealth of talent we have.

We didn't lose our two praised 5* QB's because our program is a dumpster fire like y'all did. But please try to makes us feel bad for losing a QB who was worse than Jordan Jefferson

I don't understand why everyone thinks Etling is the second coming of Peyton Manning.

Not only has no one said this, no one has even come close to inferring it.

Reading comprehension really is a useful life skill. I would recommend it.

If Harris (god forbid) gets hurt this year I would much rather Jennings take over at QB than any of those other guys at this time. That is not an option now. LSU has 1 QB that has taken a snap in an LSU home game much less an SEC road game.

If Harris gets hurt, LSU is in no better position with Jennings under center than anyone else.

We've seen that to be a verifiable fact.

Ok obviously no one actually said that, the Peyton Manning part was satire. However, they are saying that he is the number 2 QB apparently. Remember these are the same people that said Harris should start in the 2013 season. Then when he did get to start he couldn't even get to handing off the ball. Remember that? Etling might be able to handle Jordan Hare, but we don't know for sure. You know what we do know? Jennings will be able to call the play and get the ball to Fournette in Jordan Hare if Harris got hurt.

You're talking about true freshman Brandon Harris and 4th year player Danny Etling. Seriously dude, get the frick out with that comparison.

As I've said, Danny Etling has as much starting experience as any backup in the country, that would include Jennings if he were still on the roster. LSU's QB depth is fine.

Good for LSU - last thing they could use for this off-season was a QB controversy....

He left because he's graduating in May & don't want to be a 2nd/3rd string.

Best of luck to the kid

Say what you will about Jennings' on-field production as a QB, but to his credit he never fomented controversy or dissension when he lost his starting job. He adjusted to the backup role with dignity and did the best he could, and through it all, he stayed out of trouble off the field and graduated on time. That's more than we can say for certain past LSU QBs. Good luck to him next season and thereafter. He's done more for LSU in the last four years than 99% of his critics have done for their school in their whole lives.

I don't think we've ever had a 5 star qb.

and how many of those have experience? Like I said there goes the QB depth.

Yeah, they could be good but they're all definitely unproven. If Harris gets hurt, we could be in Andrew Hatch type bad shape again.

Nah, we're fine.

LSU attempting to troll other fanbases about QB's is weak. Maybe has something to do with Cam.

LSU will be fine, Scott will take over if Harris goes down. This kid will learn the plays in 3 weeks and has the field vision to take over this team.

Jennings was just not talented enough for the SEC

Wasn't he a four or five star QB that competed in the Elite 11?

Maybe it's just player development at LSU? The track record seems to favor that instead of his talent.

Bring on the downvotes you insecure bastards.
