No y'all just had your starting QBs transfer.

Then you had your starting QB transfer again.

A month later.

But I thought only A&M had Quarterbacks transfer.

We didn't have two 5 stars transfer in the same week.

I heard A&M needs a QB, and they seem to like LSU's leftovers

Would be 4th string here behind Connor McQueen.

Preciate your interest in our program though.

Lets be honest, is an experienced Anthony Jennings any different than a raw unexperienced sophomore?

Jennings is just going to come in, hand off and throw fullback passes in the flat. Maybe a few slants.

It's basically the same thing.

and how many of those have experience? Like I said there goes the QB depth.

Etling has started more games in college football than 90% of the backups in the country.

Try again.

All I said was the QB depth is gone, because it is. I would be a good QB backup if I never had to play.

Except it isn't. That's kind of my point.

Anthony Jennings transferring from LSU by hawgfanincmaking room for other more talented QB's at QBU?

Last two years notwithstanding, at least we've had some:
Bert Jones, Tommy Hodson, Jeff Wickersham, Rohan Davey, Matt Mauck, Jamarcus Russell, Matt Flynn, Zach Mettenberger.
Two were Heisman finalsts, 4 were all-SEC, 1 was the all-time SEC passing leader when he finished.
All threw for at least 2800 yards in a season, and a couple over 4000.
All were drafted. Jones had a 10-year winning career.
Flynn and Mett are still in the league.

And Arky?

Joe Ferguson. Ryan Mallett. Matt Jones. Tyler Wilson.

I don't understand why everyone thinks Etling is the second coming of Peyton Manning.

If Harris (god forbid) gets hurt this year I would much rather Jennings take over at QB than any of those other guys at this time. That is not an option now. LSU has 1 QB that has taken a snap in an LSU home game much less an SEC road game.

Wish him nothing but the best going forward. Honestly not surprised, as he's been passed on the depth chart each year since he's been a starter.

He was literally at the bottom of the depth chart in spring. And he would probably have been passed by QB signee Lindsey Scott in the summer.

That said, he leaves Baton Rouge having accounted for 2,000 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Good luck to him!
