With the whole Camgate going on and what not I have one question for you. Since it has been said many times that Cam's dad made the choice for him to go to AU. Also Cam's dad has been quoted for asking money from MSU. Why would his dad ask for money from MSU and then go to Auburn for free? You can say all that bs stuff about close to home and all that crap. Guess what Florida isn't close to home and neither is Blinn Junior College. So why all of a sudden would being close to home matter at all?

Cause dey arse done been caught with the red hands. Got to try and play it off somehow. That whole close to home thing is something the NCAA buys sometimes when not requiring a guy to sit out a year when transfering. AU thought hell let's try that and see if it sticks.

Clearly, Cam likes attention and since being at Auburn he has gotten it. His dad also wanted a surrounding cast of players where that team had a chance at a championship.
On the MSU side money was asked for... But with the shadiness of the whole situation, I think Cecil decided to get out of the drama and bailed on MSU.

Clearly Burns isnt QB material. Auburn lucked out with Cam. He might have wanted to go to MSU but his dad fricked that up for him and thus why he made him go to Auburn

Assuming that Cecil asked for money and no schools paid, he wanted Cam to go to Auburn because it was better for his career, and Auburn was selling the family thing which must have been appealing after the trouble Cam had gotten into at Florida.

I guess that Miss State being the saints they are that they must have told Mr. Newton that by him asking Miss State for money he made Cam ineligible to play football for Miss. State,so Cam had to go somewhere else to play.Isn't that what Miss State would have been supposed to do if someone asked for "ANY" extra benefits?

I dont know? Bob Stoops and Lane Kiffin said He didnt ask anybody at their schools for anything? Why would he not have asked them?
