I love country music i.e. Strait, Jackson, Twitty, Williams, etc etc. This pop country, I rather listen to hissing cockroaches.

If you don't like it, don't listen to it. Why bitch about what other people like?

Actually, it's been about 30 years since the beginning of the end of country music. About the same for rock/pop. There are some exceptions to be sure. But the large majority is just hot garbage.

Would lose my shite (in a good way) if Vandy ever used this song. It would fit the defensive mantra and "Deep Water" themes Mason is pushing. Of course, I'll never get this lucky.

Responding to me and quoting someone else is no bueno. You had me second-guessing whether I'd said something I hadn't. Yankee bastard.

I don't have to look hard at all actually. Most people were playing it my freshman year in college last year.

Surprised no one has mentioned Midland yet... They're bringing great country back to where it ought to be!

Drinkin' Problem, Burn Out, 14 Gears, Make a Little... Not a bad song in the bunch.

They should have just used this one from country artist Bo Burnam.

Football is rock n roll. No doubt about it. Why they are pushing country music onto college football is beyond me.

We all thought Keith Urban & Racel Flats turned country into boy band music

definitely not a good turn in the evolution, and a part of why we are where we are today. Seriously cant understand how a guy from australia is a southern US "country music" star. Baffles me how crappy mainstream is.

I think country music died at about the same time Garth Brooks gained that 250th pound.

I've always thought garth was the fork in the road. Nashville just took his "show," and just evolved it to where we are today. Others continued old-school, and went down the country road at the fork. Instead of getting on the highway to the big city.
