I just started googling and it looks like in Georgia, if you don't have your license with you while you're driving, you are taken to jail.

Do we have to endure 3 fan bases being obsessed with us? Auburn, uscjr, and tech. Does anyone else have to deal with this many little brothers?

That's silly, and probably not consistently enforced. If I was a cop, and pulled over some soccer mom with a van full of kids or a guy going to work, who had a valid driver's license but left it at home, I'm not wasting my time or the county's resources by running him in. That's not prudent.

I don't think he 'forgot his license at home.' I can't fathom a cop actually arresting someone for doing that

Welcome to UGA and ACCPD....

Based on Jake Ganus' tweet and the arresting terminology "failure to present driver's license" that he did in fact leave his license at home and was still arrested....hahaha. What an absolute joke.

This is what happens when you hire the lower 10% in the IQ pool to enforce the laws. Sad

My sister was given a $10 ticket for the exact same thing by a GSP officer 4 years ago

The officer can verify his info and valid license with this new invention called a laptop. Arresting him if he did indeed have a valid license is ridiculous.

Gainesville and Athens must share the same training academy for police?

Yeah, this is over the top. If you are driving while suspended or revoked, enjoy the slammer but just left it home? That shouldn't even be a fine.
