the city ranking is way off. Give me college station any day of the week. Way cleaner, nicer and way less crime than Baton Rouge.
Tears.

I don't know if you're a UGA fan or not, but if you see this is bad.
My bad, meant to do a paragraph for Neyland and accidently put it with Georgia. Add it to Neyland though (along with their win over UF in '98 and several others).
Georgia and Floria actually lack a bit of history (though nothing like Bama) because so many of our classic games are played in Jacksonville.

But I have issue with your claim that BDS was routinely 8 out of 14 from 1960 onward. The fact being that there wasn't 14 SEC teams for the majority of the time frame you provided.
I clearly stated that I was taking the current 14 schools and showing how large they were over the years. It's not "bending the truth" if you specify it upfront.

Didn't deduct for plastic fields.

If I had to rate just the stadiums (take the city out of it):
1. LSU- it's just so loud and intimidating
2. Florida- only been once, but the shape of the stadium is very unique and its of course very loud
3. Georgia- I think its the prettiest stadium around
4. Auburn- the 2nd loudest, IMO.
5. Alabama- good looking stadium; not very loud for its size though
6. Tennessee- again, not as loud as it should be
7. South Carolina- the location of the stadium sucks, but since we are going off the stadium alone, its not a bad venue. Can get very loud.
8. Arkansas- very average stadium
9. Miss St.- at least it has sizeable upperdecks (as opposed to their rival)
10. Ole Miss- feels very small
11. Kentucky- the most generic stadium ever built
12. Vanderbilt- not much to even say here
I left off A&M and Mizzou. From the photos I've seen, A&M looks like it could rank near the top... don't feel I can honestly include it though since I've never been to a game there.

Tennessee has been incredibly loud two out of the three times I've been. It is so loud that it sounds like noise is being pumped in the stadium. I've been incredibly impressed with the crowd in Neyland.

Bama rarely has epic wins during the regular season because they're the best program in college football. Expected to win every time they take the field.
We did beat the number 1 team in the country on that field just two years ago.

Yes, I've mentioned that two separate times above. That's my entire point: Bama's first win over a Top 5 team in Bryant-Denny came in 2014.
Florida (14), Tennessee (11), LSU (10), Auburn (8), and Georgia (4), all have more wins in their home stadiums over Top 5 teams than Alabama (2).
All of them also won their first game against a Top 5 team inside their home stadiums much sooner: Tennessee in 1936... Georgia in 1942... LSU in 1959... Florida in 1965... Auburn in 1883. Again, Bama's first recorded win against a Top 5 team in Bryant-Denny was in 2014.
There is nothing wrong with this. Everyone knows Bama was beating up more quality teams than most everyone else at the time... they just happened to be doing in mostly at Legion Field in Birmingham. More of Alabama's historic wins came in Birmingham than they did in Tuscaloosa up until the current century.
This exercise is not meant to demean Alabama football. It's just a fact that Bryant-Denny is far less "historic" compared to the other great venues of the SEC. I'd say that's pretty much a fact. Which makes a website claiming Bryant-Denny is a 10/10 when it comes to history completely laughable.

I remember last year leading into the LSU game all we heard about all week long was "it's gonna be a night time game in Death Valley."
On talk radio all week long they were playing the audio of the PA guy saying some stupid shite like, "the sun has gone down in the west and soon it will be night in death valley."
LSU is SUPER TOUGH at home.
And here I was thinking, "boy, this game is going to be tough after Arkansas spanked their asses last year in Fayetteville. Shut those stupid corndogs out. They're gonna play hard as frick. Arkansas may lose."
Then we know the rest.
And now LSU fans say their team just doesn't have the chest to get up for a game after losing Alabama. And that LSU is Arkansas's super bowl.
GTFO with that shite. frick "Death Valley."

Meh, another subjective list. South Carolina and a&m are about as nice as any.
LSU, it has a great atmosphere in the stadium but the stadium itself is an outdated piece of shite. Half the lights in the concourse are out, the bathrooms are nauseating and concessions are terrible. Aesthetically it looks like shite. The noise inside is incredible though. This list depends on what u call "best".

Does it bother anyone else that the M in tiger stadium is actually two R's and an I crammed together? I noticed it years ago and can not look at the stadium without noticing it.

UGA has never impressed me. The stadium isn't set up to capture noise, and the Atlanta area crowd isn't that loud anyways.
Always came across as blah...
It is the Mark Richt of stadiums...solid but overall meh...

They should distinguish between tailgating atmosphere and stadium atmosphere. For instance, Athens is one of the best tailgating scenes in the conference, but inside the stadium is just okay. With 93K you'd think it would be more raucous. Same with Oxford...great tailgate atmosphere, meh game atmosphere. Auburn, decent tailgating but excellent stadium atmosphere, and so on.
