Arkansas fans would be ecstatic for those kind of results.

Cas, you need to let it go man. LSU being Bert's doormat is eating at your soul. I almost hope we don't beat y'all this year because I'm getting worried that some Tiger fans will stroke out on the spot.

The list is actually not very good, though it got some of the order about right for the wrong reasons.

LSU is first in atmosphere, but like UGA, UF and ATM, its design and dated attributes prevent it from being the nicest and from having the best amenities. But, it is #1 in my book overall. But to rate it tops in appearance etc is dishonest. That is except for the Tiger girls. They are #1 in appearance and watch-worthy.

ATM is too high. The atmosphere is pretty good for big games once or twice a year. Saban wasn't complimenting ATM fans, he was digging at Bama fans, which is only one reason Bama's is not top 3 IMO. After the new additions at ATM, I may change my mind. But after having been there, it is middle of the road SEC at best except for 1 or 2 games per year.

Bama is too high (see above). Bama fans yawn a lot at their games and by the 2nd half, you can almost hear a pin drop- well you can at least see the effect of a lot of missing butts. And, this is during the platinum era of Bama football. The design is really nice and it is updated. It has elements that lend to better noise. Unfortunately, you only hear that noise against Auburn, LSU, and Tennessee. The best part is when the majorettes are chanting: Rall.... Tad...... rall..... Tad. Binoculars are a must.

Any stadium with a bridge practically in it cannot be rated as high as UGA. Awkward and silent for day games, the "bowl" at UGA is boring and well, boring. The best part of UGA's stadium are the hotties in it. So, maybe we will keep it ranked in the top 5.

Florida. We get it. you have had bad coaching. But, you are at risk of losing your spot for not showing up against unranked opponents. And, powerwash already. But, wow, when it is time to bring-it, you give us fans a headache and temporary deafness. And, getting a win out of there is a trophy for opposing teams.

My top 7 would be:

LSU - Best in noise and atmosphere
Florida - close to best in noise and atmosphere
Auburn - really beautiful and the atmosphere is great no matter what the team does
Bama - potential is only potential at this point
Georgia - Well, hotties make it a place to people watch. The game? meh.
Tennessee - The navy is great and the night time atmosphere is intimidating. But, not top 5.
ATM - I like the kissing part. I like their different cheers. I like the hospitality. But, it is almost like you are trying not to offend anyone. You can't be the best SEC stadium in the badass SEC conference and also be worried about offending anyone. You are nice guy. Nice guys finish last.

I have not been to Vandy, Kentucky, or Missouri for an SEC game.

Have you read the Eagle lately? How about the CSPD daily activity report? Part of your ranking includes the cesspool of Bryan which is draining into CS.

So they used the pre renovated CWS instead of the newly renovated CWS in these rankings? Well ok.

They are ranked by their measurables

Georgia has a ranking of 36
LSU has a ranking of 37

Then why is A&M with just 32 ahead of Alabama (36), Georgia (36), and Florida (34)?

I did find it interesting that LSU, Alabama, Florida, and Auburn were the only four stadiums to score a 10 in the history column? Why not Georgia or Tennessee?

So you are telling me that even though Bryant-Denny... a stadium that mostly hosted directional opponents and the Mississippi schools up until about the year 2000... ranks a 10/10 on the history scale? Give me a break.

Can anyone name a historic game played at Bryant-Denny prior to the Saban era? Even still the games that will likely go down in history the longest were Bama losses (Johnny Football's epic game, the "Camback", and the game of the century).

Here is where Bryant-Denny ranked in terms of capacity by each 5-year increment since 1960 out of the current 14 SEC schools' home stadiums:

1960: 13th
1965: 8th
1970: 5th
1975: 6th
1980: 8th
1985: 9th
1990: 8th
1995: 8th
2000: 5th
2005: 7th
2010: 2nd
present: 4th

So you are telling me that a stadium that sat typically around 8th out of 14 in terms of size up until two years before Saban was hired scores a 10/10 on the history scale?

How do they rank "design"? What are the design differentials that make say Georgia a 9/10 and AU a 6/10?

ETA: not criticizing UGA, I love that stadium.

I've always liked Auburn's design. I've felt inside the stadium, its arguably the best. Mainly because you can walk around the entire stadium inside the fan area. Most stadiums you have to walk in the concourses to go from section to section. But at Auburn there is a walkway in the interior... love that feature.

With that said, I think UGA's is at the top as far as the exterior goes. It is tucked into the hillside so that it doesn't look like a giant monstrosity rising up over the campus. And the fact that you can look into the stadium from outside on the bridge is great.

We already know the result.

Not sure about their grading system though.

I mean, it appears that #3 (Bryant-Denny) either ties or flat out beats #2 (Kyle Field) in every category. How does that work?

It's also weird that "city" is a factor for the stadium itself. If you throw in city, I think you should word the ranking a little differently.

I've been to 3 UGA/AU games at AU. This is not even close to the truth.
