2 ND 1-0
3 Ohio St 2-0
4 OK 2-0
5 Alabama 1-1
10 FSU 4-5
12 LSU 1-0
13 UGA 1-1
15 Miami 2-1
16 Auburn 3-1
17 VA Tech 4-0

Dabo is 21-9 if I'm not missing anything.

Pretty dang good. Other than one game against Miami and one against Auburn, none of those games were when the opponent was having a "down" year, either.

There's no way that Arizona St.'s one of the 20 best college football programs ever.

You should probably only talk about teams with more NCAA infractions than yours.

Are there any?

Since we are talking about vacated wins, I have to wonder where Penn State would be if not for the 112 vacated wins.

If you're talking football only (and I was), I found a school with just as many:

NCAA Major Infractions Database

quote:

Apr 14, 2017 - University of Alabama

Jun 11, 2009 - University of Alabama

Feb 01, 2002 - University of Alabama

Aug 02, 1995 - University of Alabama

Jan 05, 1964 - University of Alabama

That's 5 in all if your counting. Same as AU, of course four of ours occurred before Ronald Reagan became President.

We jumped out to a big lead, but y'all have been coming on strong lately.

ETA: I'm a little disappointed in this tangent, entertaining though it was. I was trolling another fanbase entirely...

They are not vacated anymore. Which proves the point of how idiotic vacating wins actually is. If you're not going to stand by those penalties for what Penn State allowed, how can you do so for textbooks of all things?

Because what happened at Penn State had nothing to do with player eligibility. Seems pretty simple.

Then why levy the penalty to begin with? It brings the entire process into question.

An emotional, knee-jerk reaction.

Not really. Sherman starting off as poorly as he did was directly related to Fran killing recruiting for A&M. He pissed off so many Texas HS coaches it isn't funny. It took a hell of a lot to fix the damage Fran did. But of course your ignorant obsessed arse will come in here and shite on A&M like the bitchy little fricktard you are.

ok so that restores JoPa as the winningest coach in history in division or fbs or whatever they call it these days. Clearly I don't really keep up with such nonsense, but thanks for informing me. I remember what happened on the field and that is all that really matters.

OK, my bad. Misunderstood the op.

Coach Saban has coached against 18 of the top 20 schools; with Miami, Fl. & Arizona St. being the only 2 he hasn't.

Neb. & Florida St. are the only 2 he has a losing record with.

And Coach Saban has a perfect record against Notre Dame & Southern Cal.

Saban/MichSt; LSU; Bama (67-34)

1 Michigan 3-3
2 Notre Dame 4-0
3 Ohio State 2-2
4 Oklahoma 1-1
5 Alabama 4-1
6 Texas 1-1
7 Southern Cal 1-0
8 Nebraska 0-2
9 Penn State 4-3
10 Florida State 0-1
11 Tennessee 12-1
12 Louisiana State 8-4
13 Georgia 5-2
14 Florida 8-4
15 Miami-Florida 0
16 Auburn 9-6
17 Washington 1-1
18 Virginia Tech 2-1
19 Arizona State 0
20 Clemson 2-1

Pop quiz: how many decades has it been since Bama had victories stripped for cheating? TIA.

No I didn't. 3 posts above you...

Coach Saban is 8-4 against Florida
2-3 while @ LSU;
6-1 @ Bama
1-0 @ Mich St (Saban left for LSU, didn't coach this game)
