Outside of aTm you have the easiest path to the playoffs with the talent to match. Bama and Auburn have brutal schedules.

They hate LSU. Therefore, they want to inspire hope only so they can point and laugh when it all comes crashing down in week 2.

It seems like Herby has, at one time or another, picked pretty much every team in the West to win the division during the off season. Call it the shotgun pellet style of prediction.
If LSU doesn't have a defensive drop off and if their offense shows signs of life then certainly they are in the mix for the West and a shot at the playoffs. They have some ifs to settle first.

if harris can play to his potential and the dline and defensive coordinator aren't as bad as i think they're gonna be, then yeah, they could win a natty. talented team.
