I meant he deserved one, Pork Rind.

It looks like they're not even enforcing his restitution order for that matter.

Color me shocked that someone from Bama gets to slide for egregious conduct... did Harvey sweat while poisoning those trees and we were all sitting in AC?

Bama hasn't lost a game in ten years. There is always an excuse.

At least several LSU-Bama games were influenced by Questionable calls at strategic times.

The SEC officials have a thumb on the scale of every play for Bammer.

Hell, and Bammer still has three seasons worth of forfeits and vacated games.

I remember those two hits and was going to mention them. Neither was a penalty and both should have been. I figured the fix was in for Bama and almost turned the TV off. Glad I didn't!

There has actually been scientific research done on the effect of color on perceptions in competition. I saw this on some science show on TV a few years ago.

Researchers used olympic boxing matches over several different olympic years. In the olympics, one boxer would wear blue and the other would wear red. The researchers altered the videos so they could randomly make either boxer appear to be wearing red or blue, then had experienced boxing judges judge the matches. There was a statistically significant preference for red over blue, regardless of which boxer was randomly assigned the red or the blue. In some cases, where the same boxer in the same match was shown in two different videos to two different sets of judges, shown in red in one video and in blue in the other, he would be judged the winner when in red and the loser when in blue.

I don't really recall seeing anything that blatantly should have been called on their offense, besides maybe the pick plays. But those kind of pick plays don't get called that often.

I'll side with Bama on this, because it's obvious that the football establishment is sick of SEC domination and has given the green light to re-establish parity. Officiating in SEC bowl games has been skewed for several years. Any SEC team that makes the playoffs will face the same thing, IMO.
