tebow played in a spread and stafford played in a pro style offense. I think it's clearly obvious who will be more succesful in the nfl
lol i dont think even he will try and say tebow will be a better NFL QB than stafford. as it stands right now we dont even know if tebow will be playing QB at the next level

Considering you haven't made one logical post arguing my thought out posts, proves that you're full of shite. Go ahead and posts Stafford's career numbers through 3 years of starting and Tebow's and you can see that Tebow led better by both example and emotion than Stafford. Are you done crying yet about Tebow tactics?

Are you stupid?
Do you not know how to read?

Tebow will go down as one of the greatest college football players ever. No one is arguing that.
No one here is trying to denounce Tebow.

We're just saying that...your stupid to think Stafford was not a leader. Stafford is a leader and he makes good and bad decisions in games.

Oh btw...he was the #1 pick for a reason.
He has the natural ability plus pose & leadership to lead the lions to hopefully a playoff in the future.

It's easy to pick on someone's leadership when they're a rather low key individual on the field. I had questions about Matt's leadership until the Mic'd up clip from the NFL this past year.

Where the UF fan clearly has no clue is Stafford's cerebral ability. The guy was actually very smart, per Richt...who has had some awesome college QBs in his day. Plus, being around Stafford on campus for 3 years reaffirmed his mental ability.

McElroy is the worst QB to ever win a NC. It's really impressive how Bama was able to go undefeated with such a shitty QB.

He did what he had to in the Iron Bowl. As much as I hate the moniker "game manager" that's exactly what he is.

wrong. Jay Barker had a worse game and I dont know if he ever had a game like GM did against Florida and the last drive against Auburn.

Jay Barker wasn't a fourth year JR and didn't have the offensive weapons the McElroy had. Jay put up much better numbers later in his career.

Why exactly is he so bad dore? He doesnt make bad throws, his long ball was pretty spot on most of the time, and his short passing game was to a tee. Give me some examples?

He checks down way too fast and misses wide open receivers. He plays scared to make a mistake and checks down to ingram or upchurch before he lets the routes develop. He has a weak arm and doesn't handle pressure well at all.

His skill set is so limited that the offense is dumbed down to a point where playmakers are being wasted.

disagree not a great arm but better than our last qb and he handles pressure fairly well considering he only threw like 4 int and only 1/2 fumbles on the year. He is not McCoy or Tebow(mobility) but he has a decent set of wheels when flushed as shown in the Fla game.

I dont remember him missing too many recievers last season(save the first half of the LSU game).

Dont you think that this has something to do with him being a FIRST YEAR STARTER??? He got better as the year went on.

Yeah, he really cracked during the AU game, and the second half of the VT game. Good point. And his weak arm doesnt really seem to affect him too terribly much.

Right. How many points a game did we average this year? 30 something? Another good point.

JPW had a much stronger arm than McElroy he just had a wind up release, but he was a much better QB in my opnion. He actually made an NFL roster. McElroy would only start for maybe Vandy and MSU in this conference.

He is definitely not an upper tier SEC caliber player.

He could hardly even get the ball off because of UT's blitz schemes and our shitty pass blocking, and he had broken ribs. Next.

that game not his fault. We werent prepared for their schemes and our WR must have been standing n one spot because no one was open. I cetainly hope they work on that this yr.
