I don't give a shite about this meaningless argument, but JFF did wonders to change his selfish image last night. Prolly made himself a few extra $mil with that performance.

He was the same person last night as he's always been.

Damn, did he get kicked out of another UT party after the game? Probably made a few bucks on sigs after, so it's all good. He can do that without having to hide now.

You sure have racked up the posts flaming A&M this week. I wonder why you stopped posting on your other account

Are you seriously calling him out for a supposed collegiate party incident/rumor? And for a manufactured accusation for which no proof was ever provided?

Hate on him for his wealth, success, and popularity (the reason most hate him); but at least be honest about it.

And what the heck is w your A&M rage? It oozes from every one of your posts.

All in good fun. You guys are the only ones on the Rant who are easier to troll than LSU fans.

Never liked Manziel, but he's a hell of a player. Congrats on the comeback last night.

So you admit you're trolling. I RA'd. I bet the other account was banned for trolling as well. Thanks for answering my question.

Damn dude. It was a joke. Even if he did it, who cares? The players should be paid. It was just a fun circus to watch in the offseason.

I have no other account. And if everyone around here who poked and prodded a bit got banned, there would be no board.

I'll leave you sensitive pussies alone for a while.

America wanted to see JFF play his last game, they couldn't give a rats arse about Texas A&M.

This is the tiredest bulll fricking shite I have ever fricking heard.

A&M is not really a 9-4 team. They cheated by having JFF.

Nobody wanted to watch A&M football. Aggies cheated by having JFF on the team.

Sumlin is not a good coach. JFF.

A&M didn'traise 3/4 of a BILLION dollars. JFF.

JFF didnt play for A&M. A&M played for JFF.

I am so tired of you fricking bitch-arse haters with your scared bullshite denial. This is not 1960.

Hey, I was just trying to understand your logic.
The reasons you provided are the exact types of bunk that I've seen others offer when pressed about why they hate him.
When a mob mentality sets in, it's mind boggling what folks choose to believe.
Peace.

Some people don't like "showboat" players. That's how he comes off to many outsiders. Didn't like Cam Newton, either. To be honest, I thought the Honey Badger was a punk arse fool, too. He played for the Tigers, so I held my nose. Just a personal thing.

I completely understand that.
It's just that Manziel has never been a "showboater."
I've tried, but I can't figure out how/why he was saddled w that rep.
He was an unknown freshman last year--a kid who did nothing but quietly win.
Shoot, he was forbidden to talk to the media until after the season.
I think his meteoric success and subsequent paparazzi-laden following during the offseason caused folks to assume the worst--without knowing a thing about him.
Thanks for your explanation.

What guys that are fans of a team see as excitement and having fun, others can see as being a punk or showboat. It's just perception. To be honest, Cam was a lot more of a showboat and camera hound.

Plus, realize that when guys like this come along, the media just goes insane and slobbers all over them. Some fans get tired of that. The extra attention polarizes things.

Yep. And that's unfortunate, since the media is responsible for said slobbering--not the kid.

True. Even Tebow, who deflected a lot of the attention and went out of his way to be respectful of opponents, still had no shortage of haters.

I love the fire & leadership Manziel has on the field. His off the field decisions have been questionable, but I'm not going to trash him for being a knucklehead at that age. To me it's really no big deal if he's cocky since he backs it up.

However, it's pretty easy to see that aTm was the most overrated team in the SEC at the beginning of the season (popular or not). I simply don't buy into Sumlin yet. I think Manziel has made his coach millions. What has he really done to warrant $5M/yr? They finished 4th in their own division and in the middle of the conference. Name any other situation where a coach gets a raise like that with those results.

Just because they're doing better in recruiting and donations are pouring in, doesn't automatically mean it'll translate onto the field. Let's at least see what he can do with his players first. I'm taking the wait-and-see approach with aTm. They're not there yet.
