To be fair to VHIII, he wasn't locked onto Coop every play. Kiffin did a great job of creating the mismatches and putting Coop in winning situations.

I think purely against VH3 though he had 5 catches for 50-60 yards and 1 TD if I remember correctly from an article I read. It was more about getting Cooper unmatched with VH3 than him beating VH3.

I will admit though, that jump ball TD was nasty.

Also there were two plays Cooper had against VH3 that were called back, one was a 35 yard sideline play and the other was a 15ish yard TD play.

There were enough one on one and Coop owned him.

I'm definitely referring to the jump ball man. Both players had an equal chance on that play.

The thing was, I thought VH played pretty good defense. It's just Cooper played that much better.

And, again, props to Sims for getting him the ball.

Scary thought, what this Alabama offense can become.

At the moment, Cooper is the most dominant player in the country and has the media attention. Its possible if every game is a 10 catch, 150 yard game. Its hard for receivers to win tho.

Cooper and Gurley have my vote. Cooper is going to be serious contender this year and could win it next year if not now.

Yeah but I don't think many defenses are going to be covering him one on one the rest of the way. Maybe LSU. Does anybody else have a CB that could do better than VH3?

He's gone after this year though. NFL is calling.

I think Ole Miss has pretty good Dbacks. I'm excited to see what he can do against them.

You can't double him every play unless you want to get gashed on the ground. It's a pick your poison kind of thing.

If he were to keep up the torrent pace he could .Dont see him doing so and dont see him moving to QB or RB ....so i wouldnt bet on it but boy is he good.

I would expect us to pound them with Henry and try to burn them on play action. But right now, I can't guess what Kiffin will do (and neither is anyone else so far).

The one thing that concerns me is the db's not looking back on the ball, especially covering Treadwell. I think we'll get to Bo (yet again this year) but not every single pass.

Golson? does he want to be on the BDS pregame hype video twice next year?

He's impressed me so far.

QBs get more Heisman votes than WR.
So do RB, but if he has 2000+ and 20 TDs he will get it.
