And with all that people from around the world continue to flock to N.O. to visit and work.

The problem with a state like Al. is that they have all the problems you stated (and then some), without any of the unique characteristics of the culture.

So basically, people view your kind as fat, uneducated, violent rednecks with little or no cultural appeal.

How many people do you think travel to Al. for the cultural experience?

The funniest thing is you people really don't get it (why nobody likes you).
The joke is on you, Bubba.

The only people that really vacation in gulf shores is people from Alabama. I don't think people are gonna come from Europe to see the fatass rednecks on the riviera

Ouch. Amari Cooper: "No disrespect to the place, but I don't really like New Orleans." Says too much going on, and it smells bad.

Please let the Saints draft him.

I'd say the neutral fans in NO who have tickets now have a team to root against. Nicely done, cooper. You'll handle the pros very well.

He'll handle the pros just like he's handled college. The guy is not allowed to have an opinion? He's there for business.

Classless thing to say about the city that's hosting you for the week. Wonder if he hated New York City too just because he walked down 42nd St once and didn't like the smell? To classify the entire city as Bourbon St is truly stupid - and ignorant. Enjoy the hotel room then.
why not go explore City Park, Lakefront, Audubon Park/Zoo, D-Day Museum, Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral, Aquarium of the Americas, go catch the Pelican game Tuesday

Jesus H. Christ. Other than a couple of beaches, some great barbeque, those hills in Tennessee, NOLA is about the only reason to go into the environs of your godforsaken conference.

Defending New Orleans -- one of the South's true odoriferous gems, and one of the few subjects upon which your inbred circle jerk should actually unite.

Laughable. Nola is the best city in the south! Gotta put up with a few bad things to appreciate all of the good. After living in boring Atlanta for over 10 years, I've lived in New Orleans for the past two and have had the time of my life!

It's comical the inferiority complex New Orleans residents have with their own city. They knows its a shitty tourist town so they double down on their defense of the city any time someone even hints the possibility that it is not the greatest city in America.

Culture in New Orleans consists of eating to much, drinking to much, and not working enough.
