That game Dural had 1 reception for 6 yards and 1 TD. He sure did embarrass the hell out of us as we glided to a 21 point win.

Yeah, and nobody else agreed with the poster you were responding to either. Then you went and made a comment that was humorously put away with a picture of Dural making a play against, ostensibly, a secondary you'd consider pretty good.

Yes, we know, this is Dural's first year starting and he doesn't have a large body of work. That's why the OP is dumb and so is arguing within the confines of such a dumb framework.

that's not a stretch considering what he has done in his last 3 games.

I forgot about how he balled out for 0 receptions for 0 yards against Iowa.

You DO realize he was behind 2 NFL wrs right? When the ball was thrown his way he has made plays. Now that beckham and Landry are gone he will outshine a lot of SEC wrs. Hell, he already has 3 more Tds than Amari and only 28 less yards. And more YPC

Cooper is proven. Dural isn't.

All we know right now is that Dural is fast as shite and can get up and catch passes that Beckham struggled with. It's safe to say he'll be able to create separation with the best of the best.

The real question is whether or not he can get off the line while being pressed by top cornerbacks. He's not a big guy so I guess we'll have to see.

I'd take Cooper right now, simply because he has more experience and I think he is the best route runner I have seen in a long time but Travin's talent is easy to see and either would be fine.

it's crazy how most of the rational bama fans on here are the ones who don't post very often

I think Dural is a stud. I just think that post on the 1st page claiming he's faster, had better hands, is more explosive, and has better playmaking ability than Cooper was just pulled out of someone's arse. The point I was making was that he certainly hasn't demonstrated all that yet against quality competition. The picture of his touchdown against Bama was funny, one picture can hardly prove that point.

FWIW I don't doubt his ability to put up good numbers against elite competition. I just think it is WAY too soon to be making claims like the one I disagreed with.

So do YOU realize how stupid you look thinking you can post a single picture as if it validates that ridiculous claim with no rooting in reality?

I posted the picture just to proved you with photographic proof that Dural didn't just catch TDs against inferior competition. Remember, LSU had one receiver drafted in the first round and another in the 2nd round, so he didn't have many opportunities to shine. How many passes do you think Cooper would have gotten last year if he played for LSU? If you truly believe he would have gotten 700 yards, you're looking through crimson-colored glasses my friend. It's okay...settle down junior...

Cooper is better than Landry and OBJ. With a strong armed Matt and Cam Cameron, a healthy Cooper would have had 1500 yds for LSU. Have you not been paying attention the last 2 years. Dude is the best offensive player in the SEC and only Gurley is close. Stop the silly comparisons.

Silly comparison? Just figured it's a better comparison than what the OP gave us. I still picked Cooper so try to relax.

Cooper, but it's surprising that few people even knew Travin Dural's name before the season and now he's all up in everyone's heads.
