Did you not watch us play at all the past 2 seasons? We made a living with that exact play and Amari Cooper.

One thing that I've noticed in two threads about Amari Cooper today is that the Rant has some very short memory

Dude. Didn't you know, the first two games of the season are all that matter.

And Cooper is the better receiver right now. Dural is a slightly better deep threat, but Cooper can do more things for your team.

Cooper isnt one of these athletic superfreak receivers like we've seen out of guys like Julio, AJ Green, Cordarelle, etc. Nor is he one of the really big guys like Alshon or Mike Evans. But he has NFL level footwork and route running which helps him get open a lot. I think Dural is a similar player. I dont really see him as extremely athletic (compared to other good WRs, not compared to you and I) but he has a talent for getting open.

I could be wrong on Dural though, havent seen much of him.

Everything we've seen out of Dural is him breaking open running deep down the field. He's playing a very Randy Moss role in our offense.

I'm not saying Cooper can't do this, I know that he can. I'm just saying we've seen more of it out of Dural then we have out of Cooper. And I realize Cooper is playing a different role this year to maximize the talents of your QB.

I don't know who Travin Duval is so I will go with Cooper.

You must really not watch much football. I'd go Cooper without a doubt right now btw.

I'll take Dural. We'll have him at least 2 years.

This is funny since all i heard is how LSU lost all of it's offense to the NFL. Every year LSU sends more to the league and yet every year they end up in the thick of it. I'm not sure Dural is the best LSU receiver. I will say with LSU he practices against the best DBs in the country and it shows.

It's like Cooper catches 20 3 yard passes so far this season and people forget that he basically developed the reputation he has.. by being a vertical threat
