Seems like half the league makes the Pro Bowl after players start dropping out.

Did you think that when Cam made the Pro Bowl his rookie year?

Cam broke NFL records his rookie year, his second appearance was as a replacement as one of three QBs for each team.

Please read:

In his rookie year, Newton broke numerous rookie and all-time NFL records for passing and rushing yards. He became the first rookie quarterback to throw for 400 yards in his first game, shattering Peyton Manning's first-game record by 120 yards. He also broke Otto Graham's 61-year-old record for passing yards by any quarterback in an NFL debut.[4] Newton would go on to become the first rookie quarterback to throw for 4,000 yards in a season,[5] as well as the first rookie quarterback to rush for 700 yards.[6] He also ran for 14 touchdowns, more in a single season than any quarterback in NFL history, breaking Steve Grogan's 35-year-old record.[7]

Good for Auburn! Cam Newton has been one of the only bright spots your fans have had the last couple of years, so good for y'all.

Congrats to Coop. This will be a great opportunity for him to learn from Jarvis Landry and team captain Odell Beckham Jr.

His first appearance was too, dude. He was originally an alternate and took Eli's spot when the Giants made it to the Super Bowl...

I'm not sayin' it wasn't deserved, Cam had an awesome rookie season...but he was a replacement just the same...

Never mentioned Cam until some bammer brought it up. I know you are proud for Cam, especially compared to AJ and the Bama RBs, but this isn't about Cam.

So he broke NFL rookie records and a rushing TD record. Got it.

Congrats.

I think if Cam were to announce his retirement after this year, Auburn fans would stop watching football.

And bammers would have to move JFF and Chad Kelly to the top of their hate list. Most bammers don't watch football, they just look the stat sheets on Sunday and Monday mornings.

Amari IMHO wil never be a Julio Jones 1800 yard season type of receiver. I do, however, think he gets 5+ seasons with 1000 receiving yards and maybe finishes with 10,000 career receiving yards.
