No disrespect to Mizzou, Alabama isn't losing this game.

Wow. I didn't realize the Mizzou schedule was that crappy.

Agreed, but against a Top 5 team.

Alabama generally doesn't show up against teams like Missouri and just forget how to play football. That's an LSU thing.

I would think Oklahoma counts.

Probably the best example, honestly. Though the circumstances were a tad different.

Yeah, I think the thing about Oklahoma that qualifies it is all the assurance that the bowl would not be repeat of the Utah game.

Agree, and all the Bob Stoops SEC stuff. There was incentive there (or should have been).

I think Alabama will beat Missouri but lose in the playoffs.

The main reason in inconsistency. When this Bama team plays its best it's the #1 team int he country, however almost every game they go to sleep for a quarter, a half, etc. There have only been 1 or 2 games this entire year Bama has put together a complete game for 4 quarters on both sides of the ball.

In the playoffs that will get you beat.

But who knows, maybe they pull it together and play their best ball and win the whole thing.
Can the exact same not be said about the other teams currently ranked for the playoff?

I see your point - Bama is not as polished as we are used to seeing. But the other teams have shown just as much inconsistancy as we have.

I'm just happy to be where we are, ranked #1 with a shot to play for an SEC title and a national title. What more can a fan ask for?

Bama will probably start the game flat. Might fall behind early. How they respond (or if they do) will determine if its a close loss, close win, or blow out win for Bama.

I certainly hope not. I would like Mizzou to win by being the better team on Saturday. But I am sure if Mizzou does win, the headlines will be about Bama losing, rather than Mizzou winning.

At Bryant-Denny Bama is great. Away from Bryant-Denny bama is mediocre to good. They could lose any of their remaining games.
