Negative, there's a shite ton of hotels. It might not be the most convenient/nicest but you'll be able to find one

ETA: Try the Renaissance

The Renaissance is nice, about a mile down the road from the Hyatt on Bluebonnet, I-10. Probably more in Staybridge/downtown Hilton price range.

still can't believe they turned the jimmy swaggart dorms into a luxury hotel, is it really as nice as everyone says it is?

Corporate Blvd has the Marriott's Residence Inn. It's about 5 to 10 minutes away from campus but its worth it because there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance in Towne Center.

If I'm gonna spend $150+ a night tho, I'd rather be downtown.

Wouldn't hurt to make it now, they shouldn't charge your card till later, but do ask. Whenever I go to a road game, I book the hotel a yr in advance just to make sure I get the best available. BR is not small but the hotels closest to campus are booked up way in advance for the most part.

Yeah. There are plenty of hotels, but they're not all close to campus.

That place was abandoned for years. I remember back in high school I used to skip swimming practice and hang out on the roof. You could see tiger stadium and downtown pretty well. Good times

I've been on the roof on The Renaissance before it was bought and remodeled about a dozen times. Broken into the Capital House hotel a couple times while it was being rebuilt.

Of course you can get a hotel. It's not like trying to get a hotel in your one horse town next weekend.

Stay in Scotlandville. Hear it's gorgeous in the fall.

It really is. Sometimes the sun breaks through the smog and needless to say, it's truly a sight to behold.

Yeah they did a great job on the renovation, I've been to several formals there and was impressed.

Try the Lod Cook Hotel on campus. It's probably sold out but if there is a room available, it would be a great game day experience.
