in that particular state, and that's why it's so important to them/you? Even to the point of going pro about it?

Not a flame... just sharing a perception I've had for over 55 years.

That's basically what all Yankees say about the South

Meaning there is NOTHING exceptional about Louisiana

So, congrats on having the Yankee mindset and implicitly disparaging your own state

Well in the sports arena we have Talladega races, Regions golf tournament, pro bass fishing. We have rivers and lakes and the Gulf coast. There is a lot of natural beauty in Alabama and a lot of history too.

New Orleans is America's second favorite tourist destination.... and anybody who denies it's exceptional is pretty dumb.

The obesity rate is exceptional. The corruption. The beaches. Some of the women. The humidity. That's all I got.

I think that about Alabama, but I also think that about Louisiana. No difference, in my mind.

I'm sure others think it about Georgia.

If you think LSU football doesnt set the trend and mood in Baton Rouge and a good part of this state then your 55 years have ended in senility.
There is no difference in this state and the state of Alabama

The annual jubilees on Mobile Bay are a natural phenomenon which only happen in one other place in the world I think (somewhere in Japan).

And Alabama is a very beautiful state with a lot of wonderful people. Anyone who denies that is, well, I don't really care.

I see a ton of Louisiana tags/LSU tents everytime I go to Orange Beach.
