I'm feeling the same way. Surprisingly not in a meltdown frame of mind. Time to get to work.

The last time Saban was the hunter was 2007.

Good times.

Eh, like I said in another thread. Can't stand Bama. However, I expect a huge rebound, because of Saban. Destruction to the rest of the schedule could happen

Its ok to lose as long as you know you are competitive. It only sucks when you are winning but you know it is just a matter of time before the wheels fall off because your coach sucks.

We know our coach will get this team going. It may be next year or the one after but we will be back in the hunt because our saff is awesome. Nothing wrng with a loss every now and then. This loss may actually make our team better.

That OL needs a lot of work. 7 sacks?? Didn't see that coming.

Bama seriously needed this loss. I hate to say it, but it's true. The defense especially. Some of those new kids just didn't really seem to have their shite together. Almost like the expected to walk into a team that just won the NC and just waltz into a second one based off of that.

Good learning experience for the young defense.

You guys have been dreadful for the majority of the last 10 years. You've lost to the likes of ULM, Northern Illinois, Louisiana Tech, Hawaii, etc etc.

You just lost your first regular season game in three seasons on the road against a ranked team. You're defending a national title. I don't understand how this can hurt all that much

You're a fan. I don't think there is much you can do to affect the outcome of the next game.

The sacks were more on the receivers not getting separation and McElroy holding onto the ball to long.

Out of all the SEC teams Alabama could lose to, I could live with losing to South Carolina the easiest. Classy fanbase that has supported their football team extremely well even during the very worst of times. I'm honestly very happy for them.

36 total rushing yards says otherwise though

I know...I actually feel pretty good now. I mean hell it's 1 loss. We've done something many many teams could only dream of. And on top of that....the future looks bright.

So bright I gotta wear shades.

I agree, it's like the monkey is off their backs now and hopefully, the team will get a fire in their belly for the rest of the season.
