if you are UF or Ole Miss, sure. We'll see how the greatest defense ever fairs when they aren't playing against little boys.

You are right that the once a game big pass play is about the only way to score on Alabama.

The mighty Vols seemed to be moving the ball early in the game. Between the tackles as I recall. But that was clearly just an aberration. Let's not talk about that.

Sheppard has the speed to burn you and OBJ has the skill to beat you if you don't respect him

Serious question, do you think you have a better passing game than Arkansas?

I sure think we MIX the run (power, edges, misdirection) with an ERROR-FREE vertical passing game better than Arkansas. You should watch us sometime.

Please, God, make it true that the 'Bama players and coaches also buy into this nonsense.

No they don't have a better pass game than Arky.
Not close. But Arky can't run like they do.

I hope Miles is hardheaded and tries to run run run.

I do, and I don't think I asked anything about your running game. His comment was based on our pass defense only being able to go with the likes of the "little boys" which sparked my question about Arky. Pay attention sometime

It will only stop in 2 weeks and then afterwards it will be a 2 week bitchfest about how the refs screwed LSU, or how if Les had integrity he'd have kept cheech and chong on the bench. Things like that

he will

and it'll seem like it's not working at first

but he'll keep running ware, blue, ford, hilliard, and magee till bama quits

One..take away Rueben Randle.

great, now you have odell beckham, and russell shepard to deal with.

I think our QB is good enough to get them the ball

we shall see. he hasn't gone up against a defense like LSU yet. and lee hasn't gone up against 2011 bama, but he has seen some of the best defenses in the country the last 5 years.

and that will loosen up things for TR if they can.

trent will get his yards IMO, but I think LSU defense is going to give mccannon fits.

My point Douchie, is that you can't functionally separate the two. You will be playing a lethally efficient scoring offense.
You will understand this on November 5.

No, let's talk about it. You serious with this?

UT's offense stats:

6 first downs
155 total yards
92 rush yards (2.9 per attempt)
63 pass yards (3.5 per attempt)

The Vols had two short drives resulting in long field goals (40 and 52 yards). That's it.

These are riduculous numbers. If you call this "moving the ball," then I'll take it. I haven't looked at LSU's defensive numbers against UT but I can't imagine they are that good.

Look I know anytime someone actually gains a few yards on Alabama it is unexpected and unusual, but come on. UT never did anything of note against Alabama's defense last night.

The Tide OL better concentrate on passing Pass Blocking 101 before Nov.5th, or it could get ugly for ya'll.

Your defense hasn't played a real offense and your offense hasn't played a real defense. Mccarron is fricked. This is jarrett lees FOURTH time to play your defense and Jordan Jeffersons third. They know what to expect and how o play you. The oline and running advantage you usually have will be diminished. Mccarron will throw at least one int. And get sacked at least twice.

Stats stats stats stats stats. Lsus offense may be the best in the sec. They are very underrarted. Stats will not stop them.

Eta: you will have to score more than six points in the first half to beat us

Miles is in Saban's head, too. Saban tends to make critical errors in games like this. He puckers up and plays conservative. LSU plays to win and that fact is highlighted in the opportunistic nature of our team this year. LSU has never had a positive turnover ratio like this year's team. They don't turn the ball over. McCarron will be forced into a couple of critical mistakes. That experience edge we have at quarterback and our punter pinning Bama deep will be the difference in the game. LSU also has better quality depth across the board than Bama.

This is the first time they have played this defense.

Meh. Alabama certainly hasn't been challenged but have played the current number 8 and number 19 teams. LSU hasn't been challenged either and has played the current number 7 and 24 teams. Not a ton of difference in the schedules really.

I could probably live with one pick and 2 sacks. I'm sure LSU will cause him some problems.

Of course it will diminished, Alabama will playing a great defense. The same is true on the other side of the ball.

I expect a very close game. These teams are pretty evenly matched. I think Randle and Richardson are the x-factors. Alabama doesn't have a WR that can do what Randle does. LSU doesn't have a RB that can do what Richardson does.
