Well, look on the bight side: with Kevin Steal taking LSU's money, you won't have to worry about blowing any late leads, unless it's to Vandy or some FCS school. For the rest of the games, the outcome should not be in doubt after hafltime

Chavis has 100% lost LSU between 1-3 marquee games per year since his tenure here. He handcuffs the defense during every 2:00 drill with the weakest prevent I've ever seen. He's taken advantage of talent he didn't recruit (good luck getting Daylon when Chavis doesn't even want to take the time to have lunch with him) and created a conservative defense bailed out by athletic defensive ends. I'm excited for a new coordinator who knows that blitzing is still allowed.

You do realize that Of the two of us, only LSU has ever finished dead last in the SEC West. You've done it multiple times.

I love LSU but let's be honest here. Miles screwed the pooch on this hire (yet again) and Sumlin got an upgrade. I still think we beat them for the foreseeable future (we are a bad matchup for them) but let's not delude ourselves. Steele is not a homerun or even a triple. More like a solid double.

Steele is a fielder's choice single. I honestly think he serves as a stop-gap until better talent is available.

Steele has made every defense he's ever been a DC of worse than he found it.
Since LSU had the #1 SEC D this year with Chavis I guess it's guaranteed to happen again
