Great points, and I will add that the lesser conference schools going to bowl games is nice for them too.
San Diego State had a 10 win season and were MWC champs, but would have very likely stayed at home with only 6 bowls. Instead, we got to go to Vegas, and everyone involved got cash.

Personally I have enjoyed getting off work and being able to go home and watch football almost everynight of the week. Get over your bama ego and enjoy some good football.

Wow. I am guessing you are either young and don't remember what it is like to go to shitty bowl games or old and stupid.
