Getting better. Last year we didn't belong on the same field as OU.
We should have won this game pretty easily. Our walk-on tight end dropped a wide open TD pass that would have made it 24-3 going into the 4th.
After going up on them early, Butch coached way too conservatively. OU took advantage.

Why would you feel bad?
They have a ton of talent. If the coaches can't win with that talent, then they have no business coaching at a P5 level.

And the problem is, you were going up against a POS coach in BGB Stoops who always goes for the jugular. Always. He never lets up on the gas. He constantly whines and will lie to gain an advantage. No class in him at all.
Y'all got outcoached last night. I think Tennessee is the more talented team, tbh. I hate Stoops, but he can coach. But for all the people who think Butch is classless? He's not in the same league as BGB.

Honestly they've only had a couple games in recent years where they're even close. Usually they've just been getting the shite kicked out of them. Only times they've been close to beating good teams recently have been '09 Bama, '10 LSU, '13 Georgia, '14 Georgia, '15 Oklahoma.

Considering Stoops has won 3 games in a row against SEC teams has has a record of something like 25-7 against current SEC teams, maybe he is just better and you need to stop hating him.

Yeah, I feel bad when a team that is desperate to make a statement puts everything they have into it and comes up short.
I grew up in Tennessee and for the first time in a long time, that game had the feel and atmosphere of what you saw back in the Majors-Fulmer heydays. Loud, energetic and raucous crowd, swagger on the field and sidelines. That electricity.
You could just tell the fans, players and coaches put everything into that game and to blow it at the end has to be demoralizing.

That was a gut wrenching loss but honestly as an LSU fan I have almost no emotion towards Tennessee whatsoever
...although they did talk more shite in the offseason than any fanbase but A&M and Arkansas
