He played well. Play calling not so very good.

Love Hurts.

He's definitely got room to improve, like any true freshman QB would, but I can tell he'll be able to become a VERY powerful weapon on our offense.

My only fear is if our offense becomes too dependant on him to the point that if he ever gets hurt, they'll lose their cool. Hurts is very calm and collected, as witnessed in the game yesterday, and he is definitely one of those players that can easily affect the outcome of a game with his presence.

He has a long way to go, but for a true freshman is very impressive. Some of his throws are great and others .... Not so much. But if he can continue to improve his accuracy, timing, and decision making he is gonna be a really good one for us. But God we have got to work on the penalties. I think I just saw Cam move again.

I am hoping as he gets more experience and his confidence grow, he will start throwing the deep ball sooner and open up our offense a lot - he seems to wait until the receiver is well past his man and ends up being late.

Lane was trying too hard to set up the middle of the field stuff by going wide so much early. Luckily he figured it out.

Hurts is gonna miss some open guys, hold the ball too long, etc. He's a true freshman. But man, his run ability is a game changer.

Send your DE's wide to keep him contained in the pocket and that offense won't move the ball. I'm sure the kid has potential but he's not even close yet. The majority of the offense was screen passes to Ridley and the qb scrambling.

Awwww, you're so cute.

Your glorified RB did okay but didn't win the game. The two TOs and ST plays leading to 21 points and bad goal-line officiating won the game. Ole Miss beat Ole Miss......

This is uncharted territory so not sure if I did that right

Dude is a professional already at 19. He approaches the game as a professional, which is why he seems so calm all the time. He knows it's his career path, and he has the talent to excel in his field.

This game was really good for him, and I guarantee you he will grow professionally from the big game experience he got yesterday. His confidence has to be high after coming back from that deficit and I think the coaches are doing a good job nurturing him thus far. He will be one of Bama's all time greats before it's all over.

The defense, special teams and Swag Kelly's implosion is how Bama was able to come back from a 21-point deficit to Ole Miss. Giving Jalen Hurts credit for leading the comeback is the equivalent of saying Jake Coker led Bama to the win against Texas A&M last year.

I will say that this is spot on..
Wasn't he like 14/20 for 50 yards at one point?

Should mention the non-TD where replay couldn't overturn a tough call on the field.

Hurts didn't do enough to win that game. But it's a team game and your ST/Defense carried Bama to the win.

This game was won like most are. Turnover margin.

Hurts was ok but he made plays when he had to.

Terry Bradshaw once said- a great qb is not great all time, he's just great when he needs to be.

THen he would definitely gash you up the middle, or our RB Harris would.

Thanks for the info. Nobody knows about QBs and their potential more than a L5U fan.

I'd trade Fournette and Etling for him

I'm 100% convinced he is a future heisman winner
