With our OL and Barrett Jones at center Bama ought to be fantastic in goal line situations this year. Just sneak it behind Jones and Warmack. Or run behind Fluker or Cyrus.

AJ has looked fantastic today. He hasn't thrown any picks, and his passes have been on the money. He's not taking unnecessary sacks, and he's throwing the ball away when needed.

Mandell just hit his best punt of the day. Boomed a 60 yarder from his own endzone.

Thing about Vogler is he is so tall to be an H.back. I feel like once Williams graduates he will move back to TE. Am I wrong in thinking that?

Volger is tall and thin so he is not a inline blocker which you have to be in our Off. Malcom Facine will take Williams place and I figure Volger will stay at Hback.. Plus we have may DL who could move to TE if needed. JMO

Not a blocker, thus no chance of manning the TE spot for Bama.

it was in the 50's this morning at my daughter's soccer scrimmage here in indiana--felt like football weather, but no football to watch.

thanks so much for the updates, next best thing to having an actual fb game to watch.

2 minute drill work:

In their first possession, the first team offense drove the ball across the 50 yard line before Trey DePriest stuffed Eddie Lacy in a 4th and 1 situation.

In their 2nd attempt, they drove straight down the field and Adam Griffin missed a "game winning" chip shot field goal.

Bottom line: We'll have a good year so long as McCarron doesn't get hurt.
