Fowler has mainly been working at H-Back for short yardage situations. Vogler has been with the 1st group all day. Jones running with the 2s.

ok great info thanks. Thing about Vogler is he is so tall to be an H.back. I feel like once Williams graduates he will move back to TE. Am I wrong in thinking that?

Nah, I'll leave the practice-stats-for-a-whole- different-team threads for people who feel threatened by that other team so much that they keep up with that team's practice on Twitter.

Amari Cooper is a badass. As advertised so far, and he's working against the ones in pass skel/defensive individual drills. Catching the ball from AJ. True freshman. He'll break records, IMO.

Whoa there, slow down. It's a practice/scrimmage

Yeah, but you got to put things into perspective. Cooper has been brought up by Saban on multiple occasions without being asked about him. He's working with the first team offense.

The only other receiver in Alabama history to start game one as a true freshman was Julio Jones.

I'm not saying he won't be good, I'm sure he will be. But to say he's gonna break records after a skeleton drill seems like you're putting a bit too much pressure on him

Working 1s vs 1s in the redzone now. This is where Bama's offense needs the most improvement.

He's doing pretty good in this scrimmage so far too. Smooth routes, blocks well, doesn't drop passes, finds a way to make plays, etc...

I would say our 2nd group on defense is better than Ole Miss, MSU, Vandy, Kentucky, Missouri, Texas A&M, and Auburn's first team.

Auburn's first team.

Probably our LBs, but our DL and DBs are going to be much more improved under BVG's scheme. Plus, literally none of them had played before last season. They'll be alot better IMO

Shelly is 3/3 on FGs today.

1st drive ended in a field goal.

2nd drive was all Fowler. 10 yard catch to the 5, and a 5 yard TD run.

Working 2s on 2s now.

I agree on your DL. Our 2nd group of LBs are better, and I think our 2nd group of DBs are better too. JMHO, though. I'm a homer.

Yeldon scores twice against the first team defense in goal line situational work.
