Alabama's opponents have only been called for holding three times all season. How is that even possible with an average d-line? Much less the best in the country...m

Because they arent holding. Bama doesnt have an awesome pass rush. What they have are DL who are excellent at gap control and tackling.

Alabama's defensive line plays two gaps and doesn't try to go around offensive linemen. They free up the OLBs to make plays without having to make contact usually.

I don't know...
Something about leading the conference in sacks (total and per game) and being in the top 10 nationally in sacks (total and per game).
I'd say there would be onfield safety issues if Alabama every seriously tried to pass rush.
