Who needs JF or NS to tell them this? It was obvious who did the best job against JF last year.

Actually the final score of 24-19 LSU is not really how close the victory for the Tigers should have ended.aTm had a 4th and 14 Johnny FB was sacked as his pass fell incomplete. In a horrible call the zebra dropped a flag for roughing the QB.That sustained the drive to make it 24-19 LSU.

LSU kept the ball and ran out the clock. That personal foul flag gave aTm their last TD.

Giving up 42 points is pretty worrisome for a team that prides itself on great defense

This argument, being used to downplay the fact UF shut Manziel down is complete crap...first game or not.

LSU's defense is faster than Bama's....especially on the edges which is how they're able to better contain JFF.

Speed is key. It's the only answer and not many teams have enough.

True to a point. Sumlin admittedly didn't turn Manziel loose until the AU game. LSU might have still beaten A&M late in the season. Florida would have been run out of Kyle Field late in the year. Different QB from beginning to end.
