true dat. a&m only won last year because we tired y'all out and if y'all win this year it will be because of our strategizing. i know that's what you said i just wanted to clarify it and having done so remind all here how great LSU is and how much we control what this conference does. without LSU, the SEC sucks.

This argument, being used to downplay the fact UF shut Manziel down is complete crap...first game or not.

Funny thing is Johnny was a lot more one dimensional at the time he faced UF and LSU. LSU would not have wanted to face us at the end of last year. I realize this won't be a popular opinion on here, but it's how I see it. He and the staff didn't have near as much confidence in his arm at that point and he tended to only throw if he thought a receiver was wide open on an island. He improved significantly with each passing game and is a much better all around QB now.

I really hope we can play each other in the SECCG... although im sure after the abomination of a game you had against Miami the chances of Driskel leading you to anything other than a meaningless bowl game would be setting your sights too high.

We would have beat the tar out of UF towards the end of last season.

I hope so too....

5 turnovers do tend to make games pretty ugly (see UF vs USC last year)

Wasn't his fault we lost...ball security is a team effort. We don't lose those fumbles, or the two red zone interceptions, and we win by 14....

We've done that quite a few times. Something A&M cant seem to do against LSU

I agree with Saban. Nobody played us better last year on defense than LSU. They have tremendous team speed. With that being said, A&M's offense is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better this year than last year. It's also year 2 of Sumlin and his offense, not year one.

Alabama has a big, physical D that is great at stuffing the run.

LSU still has a pretty big and physical D, but their strength is more in their speed and athleticism.

Both Defenses are great, but have weaknesses. Alabama's is weak against highly mobile quarterbacks and the zone read (see Georgia Southern and aTm).

iirc, against aTm, LSU used a lot of looks with only 3 Dlineman so they had more speed guys to contain Manziel. It worked pretty damn well.

Funny how you LSU fans... well, nevermind.

Manziel said this in interviews just after the Heisman ceremony. It's no secret. Were you hoping for a "good job"? Good job!
