In the first four games of the season they have picked off six or seven passes. When they are in the right position they make plays. I think by the end of the season we will be better than we were at anytime last year - regardless of record.

Hmm, maybe, but I wouldn't go that far just yet.

Robert Lester might be one of the worst/unlikeliest players to lead the SEC/nation in INTs.

lol half of those picks came from over thrown balls.

They weren't in the right position at all.

They were in the right position to intercept the pass?

I think the INTs has more to with playing shitty QBs and Ryan Mallett being a complete dumbass during crunch-time than it is having a great ball-hawking secondary.

How is he a bad player? For being a first-year starter(actually this is the only year he has even gotten significant playing time) the guy has been more than impressive.

So you are saying that ALL of UF's picks have been incredible plays where the ball was basically robbed from the defender?

Unless I'm mistaken, WRs shouldn't be streaking wide open. If they are, the DBs are not in the right position.

Um, no? I don't know where you saw me say anything near that.

My point is that most INTs are from bad passes, does not change the fact that they are INTs.

They were too busy waiting to intercept the overthrown ball to concern themselves with the wide open receivers.

It's called pressure. Even your fantastic Mallett, the grand playmaker at QB that you would so love for Alabama to have, gets hurried, harried, and hit resulting in diminishing use of fundamentals by the affected QB.

Bench...you're still a douche dude...but it's okay.

Its kind of taken this year for me to realize how good our secondary was last year, three corners drafted, Barron and Woodall (who to be fair was no better than Lester). And a roided up Robbie Green.

Again I don't know where you saw a post of mine where I disagreed.

Most picks come from 1) pressure 2) bad passes or 3) a ball-hawking DB who jumps a route.

that last being the least frequent.

Ok, so what if your point is true.

Alabama has 8 ints.

Florida has 12. We must be world beaters using your logic.

Your safeties are good and I'm sure your young highly recruited corners will get better but I seriously doubt they will be as good as your secondary from last year. They were nasty
