Im about to bet big on Bama covering this spread... Seems like a lock... I don't know much about Va techs talent on D,but ik bud foster is a good coordinator and Alabamas oline is suspect

Our o-line has struggled at times with pass protection early in the season over the last few years so there may be a sack or three given up, but expect a heavy dose of running to negate that.

Gonna be like Michigan last year, except without the drama of Shoelaces.
Though Bud Foster is a better DC than whoever the hell Michigan's DC is. They might slow Bama down until the rust of the off-season wears off.

I just can't bet on Bama games, mainly b/c I am too much of a homer to bet on anything but Bama covering the line. I just can't ever hope they don't score again or that the other team won't

I have 100 bucks on it. Week 2 I have 100 on UF covering on Miami. Both will be easy covers. Make some money son.
Also I think LSU smokes TCU..they dominate OOC opponents.

I hate to say it but I don't see VT scoring a legit td. Could get one late when the 3rd team kickoff team is on the field for bama

The only reason not to bet on Bama would be the starters exiting the game in the 3rd quarter, but since this is the opening game tuneup for aTm, I think Saban will stay with the starters a bit longer than normal. 37-13 Bama. What is the line?

Even when nichilos lost to them when he was at LSU they are the most overrated team in the ACC.

Alabama lost to the only good team they played last year. Virginia Tech isn't a good team though. So there's that.

It will be closer than the experts think...both teams start off slow and conservative with bama pulling away in the fourth quarter
