I've only been to one AU-UGA game (last year actually) and it was a good game. I personally didn't witness any fights, but it wouldn't surprise me if some broke out somewhere.
I've been told that the atmosphere is way different for that game than the IB.

Been to an IB game in Tuscaloosa and the atmosphere was worse. Didn't help that Bama beat the shite out of Aubie that year. The UGA/AU game I went to was the game UGA scored with 14 or so seconds left in the game to win. The scene leaving was like a WWE Royal Rumble had broken out at the tailgate. It was awesome.

for me, and I don;t hink im wholy in the minority here, I look forward to the UGA game a bit more - cause I hear more about us losing (to UGA) than I get from my bama fan friends.
but i should change my outlook - cause you know all when it comes to our (AU Fans) games against rivals.

Just let it go. Clearly he doesn't have a handle on reality. I can say without a doubt that I look forward to the UGA/AU game more than anything else on the schedule. Its more fun than UF, though this could have to do with the fact I prefer home and home vs. "neutral" site. I couldn't give two shits about GT. In my lifetime its a foregone conclusion that we "should" win the game nearly every year anyways. I'm not sure that I'd consider the GT game even a rivalry game... I guess its like drop kicking your little brother in the face... every once in a while you miss and just land on your back but typically, he ends up crying. Wouldn't want to lose the game because it is still tradition but if I have to chop one or the other, AU stays and something else goes...

This was posted once before (either here or on DR) but it would be possibly the greatest "Like a Boss" moment if the SEC gets rid of permanent division rivalries and immediately after UGA/AU and UT/UA schedule permanent non-conference games against each other.

What a dumb arse. Our hierarchy is not so cut and dry. AU is usually #3 but that is misleading because all of our top 3 rivalries are historic, between two big programs and GT, and all 3 have bad blood. There are some who hate AU the most while most hate GT and UF most but regardless it isn't as black and white as this little dweeb thinks.
Losing UGA/AU would be catastrophic and the SEC better work like hell to fix this.
