11 hours short. I didn't have much hope. I really wanted to get the ticket to give to my dad as a Christmas present since I went to the last one.

Oh well, I'll still be hammered in NOLA. Congrats to those who got them.

If you don't get them the first time do they have a second chance raffle?

Sucks that it goes by hours and not priority points....

That sucks man. I'm glad LSU does priority points, rewards the dedicated student fans and doesn't really go off seniority. Congrats on scoring a ticket though

If you bought season student tickets and didn't use them enough you are ineligible to buy post season tickets and tickets the next season, FWIW.

I don't know if Alabama will be doing like they did in 2009, but if they do the kids buying them just to turn around a sell them for profit are going to be upset

Ticket pickup for the BCS National Championship Game will be ONLY on the day of the game in New Orleans at the Superdome. Specific times and location will be sent out later to those students who receive tickets. The student of record who receives the ticket must be the one to pick up the ticket and must have their student ID.

Ours is the same way. We pay for them today if we ate eligible, and will have to be in New Orleans the day of the game to pick them up. Personally I don't mind, because it makes sure that only people who actually plan on making the trip sign up to buy.

I was not real motivated by the faculty/staff system for the past few years. It has been tough as heck to get tickets, yet it seemed as though a lot of opposing fans were sitting in the F/S section. I think there should be a move to a utilization based allotment system.

Didn't get one - apparently only grad students who went to undergrad here are eligible. bullshite.

UGA only gave SECCG tickets to students graduating this fall for undergrads

I'm a senior and only 2 of my friends got them, neither of them are graduating in the fall but they're both double majoring so they have a shite ton of hours.

I still question the band portion. The Sugar Bowl has always put them in folding chairs on the sidelines. Now in Pasadena they DID have to use ticketed seats for the MDB. The AD actually had to use 107 in addition to the ones the Rose Bowl committee had set aside because the MDB is bigger than most Big 10/Pac 12 bands.
