The one decent offense bama played made vinnie look like shite.
What about that Ole Miss offense? You know the one that was averaging 500 yards a game before Alabama held them to 205 and 0 points? It then went on to continue averaging 500 yards a game, including 500+ yards against LSU's vaunted defense.

No the frick he wasn't. Good god
Yes he was and yes it's a loss for Bama, but they recruit deep and Collins is a pretty nice option.

Halfway through the season and 20 tackles with two picks is all american type season????

2 pick sixes
Was on midseason AA teams. He proved that, as a Safety and not a Star, he's one of the best. Big loss for most teams, we've got HaHa and LC though.

So it's the two pick sixes that put him over the top?
OK
winbamawin, from another thread that has since been locked.
If the BCS was set up to have the "two best teams" play for the title then OK St losing to Iowa St didn't even play into consideration? Right?
As you stated LSU and bama were the "two best teams" that year. That's why they played for the title.
BUT as we both know. If OK St wins that game they go ahead of bama.
So, with that ONE WIN does that mean somehow they magically become BETTER than the tide???

Well shoot all it took for TM7 to get to New York were a few punt returns for TDs, a couple forced fumbles and 3 blunts of skunk. Why not Vinnie?

The only thing is two unbeaten teams in a BCS conference get in no matter what.

Nope.
Vinnie was on midseason AA lists. So naturally you assume he's on pace for an AA season. We don't vote for All Americans, and clearly the people that do think he was qualified a week ago.

Butbutbutbut. You stated for a FACT and quoted the creator of the BCS as saying "the two best teams in the country" will play for the BCSNC.
I guess you got the quote wrong then.
You can't say for an absolute fact either that "two unbeaten teams from a BCS conference get in no matter what".
Once beaten SEC conference champs would go ahead of an undefeated Louisville (lets just pretend) this year. That was stated many times this season. Even an undefeated tOSU might be jumped by a once beaten SEC or possible PAC champion. Due to the buckeyes perceived weak schedule.
When the BCS was created their ONLY objective was to have a game matching #1 Vs #2, however their voting came out. The word "best" was never in the equation.

Nope. He said that the BCS was created so they could get the two best teams on the field.

Well, other than the AAC/Big East.

Maybe. You know the media would be on tOSU's dick though.

Made it clear to me when he was on the radio that day that he created it for the two best teams to play.
Now, tell me, wtf does this have to do with Sunseri?

When you heard this quote from this man did he single out ACC and Big East?? Or are you adding that to make your point look better??
Either you have the two best no matter their record or it's #1 VS #2 according to BCS standings when matchup is made.
That's not necessairly the same set of teams.
Nothing to do with son of serri. Just trying to get answer about something you posted on a thread on the scoreboard that has since been locked.
Really sorry if he is out for the season. Wanted to see how he held up against LSU's passing "O" this year. He didn't do that well the last time. Is he a SR?

I said AAC, which is what the Big East has become.
And he didn't say anything about them, I'm telling you it's obvious that if two teams from the SEC/BigXII/B1G/PAC go unbeaten, they play each other. Kramer said the BCS was created so the two best teams would play. Clearly it's a flawed system because the two best teams aren't always both unbeaten.

Exactly.

Not good. Played Star, which he isn't set for. We have Jarrick Williams there now, and he's been great. Was exclusively a Safety this year and looked faster/more athletic.

Junior. He and LC will be here next year to give us two returning starters. Belue will be gone at CB and he's been amazing this year, one of the best under the radar players in the country right now.

Clearly it's a flawed system. That's why it's not always the two best teams that play for the title
BUT
Every year since it's creation the BCSCG has always been the
#1 VS #2 team as determined by the BCS system.
So next year when Rasco, Allen and Hunter return to the LSU DL as returning starters at DE, does LSU get to claim three returning starters. Or if Rasco opts out early tigers will still have a pair of returning starters at DE.
Allen started basically the fist half the season and now Hunter is the starter.

Pretty much. Vinnie's been a starter in the secondary for a year and a half, plus played Money for the last few games of 2011.

So lets add up the numbers.
Son of seri started 0 games in '11, six games in '12 and seven games in '13 and he's been starting for a year and a half. OK.
That's 13 games total started. How does that equal to a season and a half as a starter in the tide secondary?
