Joshua Jacobs severely underrated or is that line so good even a 3 star RB looks like a stud? Things to ponder.
If you really believe this then you have never seen this kid run. Do us a favor and go look at his highlights. This dude had the second highest ypc on the team as a freshman. He looks like mark Ingram when he runs but with more speed.

One of the toughest running backs in the nation to bring down
This was ten games into the season. He didn't get many touches down the stretch with Bo's breakout performances but he's very clearly capable of being a difference maker.
quote:
One of the signature stats that we collect and track here and PFF is known as the elusive rating. Tracking how many missed tackles a running back forces based on the number of rushes and receptions they have, and factoring in their yards after contact per carry average. It’s a better indication of a running backs’ production than yardage totals alone, and gives an insight into what a running back can do beyond the help of their offensive line.
quote:
Jacobs currently ranks ninth in the nation with an elusive rating of 134.1, and when you look at the numbers that contribute to that, the true freshman is having a pretty ridiculous season so far. He’s averaging 4.36 yards after contact per carry on the year, a mark that ranks 13th in the nation and is higher than the total yards per carry average of 41 running backs in the nation in 2016.
Even more impressive has been his ability to make defenders miss in space, with 14 missed tackles on 68 carries, giving him an average of one missed tackle forced every 4.9 carries. To put that in context, Derrick Henry forced a missed tackle once every 5.2 carries a year ago, admittedly on a much higher sample size. Jacobs has seen just 11 receptions so far this year, but has forced an impressive 10 missed tackles as a receiver.

Alabama will always have great backs with Saban there! Will have a physical offensive line, very good QB play and a great defense again.
To bad y'all can't win the Championship every year because with all that talent and coaching it must be really disappointing as an Alabama fan not to do so!
Add in the fact that Alabama football is y'all whole life, quite sad honestly!!

L6U butthurt is at an all time high.

Nope, just what would be the typical response from an Alabama fan if an LSU fan started the same kinda thread, fact! If you can't beat them, join them!
Oh and congrats on the L6U thing it's so original but yet again, the only thing you Gumps live for!

Bo was #2 RB in his class behind Fournette.
Damien Harris was the #1 RB in his class.
Joshua Jacobs was severely underrated in his recruiting as a 3-star.
Najee Harris is arguably the #1 recruit from this past class.
Hurts is a dangerous runner who ran for 954 yards and 13 TD's last year.
If Hurts can open up the field with his passing, this offense could be downright nasty. Hurts needs to improve by a lot though with his downfield passing, so we will see

And win nothing of significance...again. It's like Texas Tech throwing for a gazillion yards every year and going 7-5. Who cares?

I thought he was younger than that for some reason.

Considering you are running a modern day version of the veer offense Auburn should most certainly lead the SEC in rushing every year.
If Auburn doesn't lead the SEC in rushing this year it either means y'all have had a complete collapse down on the plains or your passing game is so improved you don't need to run the ball as often.
There are a lot of things you can say that are good or bad about Gus, but he will always put a good rushing attack on the field.

Alphonse Taylor works down at the docks here in Mobile these days. My buddy and I spoke to him recently. We asked him about the OL this year, he didn't seem thrilled. Thinks they don't have it together.

Key was not being held. Bower was not being held. Neal was engaged properly and twisted his own body. The picture may help you cope with the loss as it fits into your fanbase's excuse matrix (Refs, scheduling, REC, SEC offices, Chargers, etc), but watch the actual play. It's simply well blocked and then Hurts embarrassed your team on the back end b/c they took poor angles and he made them pay.

Everyone knows y'all have the best players and best coaches. You are the best team. Year after year.
What rise do you get by bragging about it?
It's like you've forgotten that you've been there.
Acting like you haven't been there, but you clearly have.
Weird bama phenomenon going on now with the fanbase, we'll look back on this in the future and be able to dissect it better.

your ego is showing. Its not embarrassing to hold the #1 defending champs scoreless for 3 and half quarters.

Absolutely not. That was impressive and I've been impressed with Aranda's scheming. However, college safeties (the backend of your D) taking such horrible angles on a QB running down the middle of the field is embarrassing. I'd be saying the same thing if those angles had been taken by Ronnie Harrison on a similar play.
