How can you blame the Bama players? Clemson is out there fondling buttholes, not getting criticized for it, Dabo hasn't had to answer a single question about his roster of homos, and tons of people are saying they can't stop Watson and that this is Clemson's year.

Hell, Alabama is #1 and people are going to take shots and media wants a Alabama to lose. What is the bigger story? Alabama wins another title or Clemson shocks Alabama to win the title?

Hey genius when 95% of the media is picking Clemson it absolutely does make Alabama the underdog.

They seem tight and scared.

Why are they listening to what people are saying? Why do they need affirmation from reporters?

Not good. Saban better get ahold of these guys mentally. They are tightening up. But, he probably is too. He stays so wound up and keeps everyone around him so wound up, it takes a toll.

Yes, quite a toll.

Four NCs in seven, soon to be five in eight sure is taxing on the psyche.

You're an idiot.

Really. Turn on the media all of it. Sec NW and ESPN. Everyone has Clemson winning. Which is fine they very well may if we can't fix our offense but Bama is the perceived underdog.

The fact is, when you're on top, you have a lot of haters. I don't think it's all brain-washing making them feel like underdogs. Any time Bama looks lackluster, even when they win (like in the Peach Bowl), they're given a hard time about. It makes sense that they've learned to channel that negativity into motivation.

Its 100% Saban mind tricks. I don't blame him but it's definitely complete bullshite. Bama is the big favorite like they have been for a decade. Clemson has a puncher's chance at least but Bama is still king. I don't see what's wrong with embracing your role as the team to beat. Saban fights it incessantly.

He's fighting complacency. Once you let yourself think you're on top and the best there is, you open yourself to letting your guard down. Obviously Saban has found considerable success fighting complacency with the team, so I have zero complaints with his philosophy/tactics.

I've always found it fascinating how supreme athletes, the absolute best of the best in their field, are so sensitive to any comment that is kissing their arse. I mean, if it takes digging for anything to motivate you, go for it...but really?

These guys are out here saying shite like "They're saying we could possibly be upset." Well no shite...it's a championship game, you're not lining up against Akron or directional Michigan

Worst, most laughable attempt I've ever seen at playing the "disrespected" card.

I agree however, I'm not sure we can survive another 405 yard passing game from Watson. Dude is bad arse. I just don't see Hurts successfully completing long balls and I think it will take a few of those to open up running game. Hope I'm wrong

Underdogs are ultimately based on the spread and Bama is about a touchdown favorite over Clemson still.

Yes, a good amount of media people are picking Clemson with the upset, but that's what the media does whenever the underdog has good talent.

I don't think the media respects Alabama. I KNOW Clemson fans do not, they think they will win by 2-3 TD's. I don't think the Clemson team does either by comments I have read.

Swagger on out there thinking this will be easy and you'll be crying what if again, because this is going to be a pissed off Alabama team coming in, no matter how they got to the mindset.

Not even close to being true.

Most are going with history and picking Bama.

Seriously?? Clemson is just coming off of their best game of the season where they shut out an Urban Meyer-coached team (something no other team has ever done). I didn't think their D was good enough to do that.

Bama's offense struggled against Washington and they just shoved Lane out before the title game. So you can see why some people think Clemson has a shot when their QB did very well against Bama's D last year and their D is coming off of their best game. You can pick another team to win and still have respect for the other team.

Still, Bama is a different animal. Just because Clemson blew out Ohio St., it doesn't mean they will do the same against Bama. Bama's D is easily the best. It should be a good game.
