Alabama wins by 30. They're just looking for motivation. I pulled out a comment from 2008-2010 that doesn't matter anymore. They are just a machine now and are looking for something to focus on.

Not good. Saban better get ahold of these guys mentally. They are tightening up. But, he probably is too. He stays so wound up and keeps everyone around him so wound up, it takes a toll.

You're right. I can't even do it. I wanted what I said to be true, and maybe 6-7 years ago it would have been, but it isn't anymore. Alabama is a machine and rolls on Monday.
I typed that because I used to think it and thought, hey, maybe it is happening again. But, I hit send and realized I was likely wrong. Don't mind admitting it. Bama is just looking for motivation. It all gets so boring for them. Why not?

The funny thing about this board is that you have a thought and type it and sometimes come back a few minutes later and think, "Wow, that was totally wrong." I usually stand by what I say, unless I am just trying to get a rise out of people, but I quit doing that intentionally a couple of years ago. This comment was just stupid. I take it back.

Until LSU can beat Alabama again, I really have nothing but respect for them and have no business questioning the genius.

From an objective p.o.v., it's pretty stupid. But from a motivational p.o.v., it's good to get a chip on your shoulder just so long as you don't let it weigh you down.
Edit: It's actually a pretty good reflection of how things operate on this board. The largest fanbases here are the ones that are the most convinced everyone is picking on them.

No. I'm being sincere. I trotted out the old "Saban is coaching tight" theme from years ago and posted it. Then, moved on and forgot about it. I got called on it being stupid and I looked at what I typed again and thought, "You know what? They're right. That is stupid. Alabama is a machine now. They are long past that."
I wasn't just trying to troll when I first wrote the original comment, but it was lazy thinking. I don't mind admitting it. I'd rather abandon a weak position than defend it pointlessly.
No joke. Totally serious. Alabama is a machine and is bored and is trying to find motivation. Good for them. Clemson can beat them and might, because they are a good team and anything can happen, but it won't be because Alabama played tight or anything. It will be because Clemson brought it and played really well and took the game from them. They will have to go get it, though. Alabama isn't giving them anything.
