And why do these ol miss fans keep posting these same threads every damn few hours. It don't make a hell you guys won the games. If anything the loss makes Bama play better. Lit a fire under them last year to get the sec championship that everyone wrote them off. Same story as last year when everyone said Bama would lose 4 more games. Ended up beating Tex a&m what 56-0??

Congrats on the win broski. Wish some of the Ole Miss faithful would enjoy it a little better than they are. It was a huge win for Ole Miss. Bask in it and get ready for the rest of the year.

Ole miss fans have actually handled the bans win quite well this year from what I've seen. Not a lot of shite talking but confident. I've got nothing negative to say. They look good so far. Lots of ball to be played and it seems they know that. Gonna be a wild ride the rest of the way. And bama is far from out of it although their schedule is tough.

Losing that game at home really put Alabama behind the eight ball. If they lose to Georgia next week, they are basically toast.

This whole thread should be placed in a time capsule to be opened in 2095. Or perhaps narrated by Morgan Freeman and shot into the cosmos for alien life to digest as an example of human civilization.

What the Fighting Flask fans don't get is this isn't the first time we have been burned by the same illegal play. It was discussed in the offseason and the eighth official was supposed to help catch things like this.

HUNH teams all over run the "pop" pass . High school coaches that have been to Malzahn clinics say he is purposely sending OLinemen downfield on the play. As designed the play is illegal but the coaches are coounting on the officials being overwhelmed by the pace of play, and so far they have been correct.

FACT: If Ole Miss wins the next 37 consecutive games against Alabama, the series will be tied.

I think most are saying we lost because we turned the ball over FIVE TIMES, Ole Miss scored one TD on a fluke play, AND we got burned on the lineman downfield thing. That's hardly the "one play" scenario in your argument. But hey, if you like building straw men and knocking them over, then go ahead and enjoy yourself.

It works better if you say it like this," Ole Miss could beat Bama for the next 36 years and not be .500 against Bama."

You people are so upset over a win. Just accept that you barely beat a 4 loss Bama team and move on. It's a long season and you have a good team, let's see how it shakes out.

I am sick and tired of every Alabama defensive player and coach saying they lost the game because of one play out of 166.

I hate to defend Saban because he is a whiny little bitch and usually scapegoats someone else for a loss. But this time I don't see him doing that. He said he sent the play to the league office, but then added that the TD resulted from the players' mistake in not covering their assignments.

And he's right. By the time our O lineman was 3 yards beyond the LOS, Bama's corner and safety had already bitten on the run and could never have caught up to Cody Core streaking down the sideline. The refs threw a flag on the QB being over the line, but he clearly wasn't. The lineman clearly was a yard or two beyond the allowable, and it should have been called, but it had no effect on the play. Sort of like a minor block in the back 20 yards behind the play that doesn't get called.

this thread is funny.... OM doesnt handle this well imo either.. They do have a great team.. i am just not sold on the depth and if key players go down like last year.. Also they do not seem to have a running game..
Guess we will see..

Not much of an argument for them to have. According to the rule, any part of the body needs to be at the line. Clearly the guys entire back leg was behind. If anyone has a gripe it would be the LSU Aubie throw for a TD from Aubies now second string Heisman hopeful. Lineman clearly down field, I think there was even a hold, and he MAY have had a shoe string dragging to "keep him at or behind the line of scrimmage" Gumps can't read or understand rules...they just expect calls like that to go their way.

You do realize that you just did what you're accusing Bama fans of doing, correct?
