However, they have given up 40 points this year already, so their defense can be scored on (I realize 5 turnovers but Kelly did have 350 yard passing), so their defense isn't all world.
That game, due to turnovers, the Ole Miss offense got 24 points (TWENTY-FOUR!) on only 77 yards of offense after turnovers. That's hardly on the D. Ole Miss had fields of 17, 18, 26, and 31 yards to work with. That's tough to ask a D. Also, I understand Kelly had 350+ passing. Look at his numbers without the passing anomalies of the prayer bounced off helmet and the illegal pop-pass. He was 55% completion percentage for 200 yards without those.
OSU, Clemson, and many others would be a challenge for Bama. No doubt. That said, Bama would be a neutral site favorite of 4+ against any team in the country moving forward.

Their front 7 definitely took a a step forward. The crazy thing is that their LBs didn't even make that many tackles against LSU because their DL played great. The aspect that may have surprised me the most is that their DBs looked great in run support. I thought losing Collins would hurt them there but it didn't.
The good news for y'all is that you generally have a more dynamic, imaginative attack than LSU's offense. I wouldn't expect Elliott to have the game he had last year but still have a solid game if Barrett and Thomas can help set up the run. As a neutral observer who has only caught a couple games of yours this year, I think losing Herman and not having continuity at QB hurts, but I still think yall can gel here shortly. Should be fun to watch.

OSU hasn't played good ball up to this point. Thankfully it hasn't bitten the Buckeyes yet.
They will be geared up if they can get it together for the next 3

Coker already won a game this year. The final drive against UT was brilliant.
