I mean OSU had 2 bad turnovers in their own part of the field against Bama last year in the first half, and one of those turnovers was the last play of the game for Bama so it's really a 2-2 turnover game I'm pretty sure

One of OSU's turnovers was the INT for a TD that was just a great call from the DCs and it worked dropping a DE into coverage to put a guy in front of Cooper. The other one was a bit underthrown from Sims but Vonn Bell also said he knew it was coming and was kind of baiting the throw (a better throw and I think it still could have been a TD)
I'm not trying to take anything away from OSU or any of the other teams listed. My point is that when Bama doesn't turn the ball over they don't get beat. The spread really doesn't have anything to do with it. Bama, and any team for that matter, will win 95% of the time if they don't turn the ball over.

But you act like they're 95 nebraska. We thought the same thing last year and they got whooped. We thought they were gonna crush oklahoma and that didn't work either.

I think most thought Bama overachieved last year. The West, especially one Les Miles, lets Bama off the hook too much when they are down.

I think it's highly possible Bama wins it all this year as this defense is elite. Last years was not. That said, if Coker has a bad game that puts a lot of pressure on the whole team. A hungry team like Clemson could put them on their heels in a hurry if Henry isn't getting fed.

So you had to start a thread about it on the "SEC" rant?

It screams jealousy and vaginal dis-fortitude. (That means you're a pussy)

Grow a set and stfu.

It's a shame you shite the bed to Bert. OSU was looking to rush for 500 yards on your soft defense. Maybe we'll get our shot at you in the CapOne Bowl. Buckeyes will go gangsta on your arse in the Capone bowl. Go figure.

I really don't care anymore. I got more important stuff to worry about like passing finals and then studying for USMLE Step1. or or

That was an example of Kiffin getting impatient. The momentum had shifted after the OSU turnover and Bama should have pounded the ball. Kiffin asks Sims to do something he has trouble with and the pass is intercepted--a very foreseeable result.

They will literally embarrass Ohio State, Clemson, and/or Notre Dame.

Doubtful, aside from maybe Notre Dame. Clemson is awesome and Ohio State beat them solidly last year.

Vegas would likely have the spread under a touchdown for both games, with Clemson being probably very close. Having to go through Florida and then two teams in the playoff is no small task, so it's not a forgone conclusion by any stretch.

Oh I forgot yall like to ignore OU and Ohio State beating you in consecutive years because... SEC.

The premise of the thread was Bama "embarrassing" extremely talented, highly ranked teams. Bama is very good, but your presumption has been debunked in previous years.

Nope, we're still a very good team. Are we supposed to win it all every year? Because that is about the only thing we are guilty of. No one has had a run like this, sorry.

Clemson is the best team in the country IMO. LSU made Bama look better than they are.

I wouldn't call last year a fluke. I don't think Bama played their best game, but that was also one of Saban's worst defenses at Bama. And Kiffin is a fricktard at times. The truth is, there are other good teams out there. Bama might win it all, and might lose to FL or any of the teams in the playoff. You just never know. That said, I think Bama has as good a chance as anyone.

The bolded is so often overlooked it bothers me. That team overachieved if you ask me.

Ok? What does that have to do with me saying yall have a tall task? There are two great teams yall may end up facing in the playoffs. The talent gap between Bama and Ohio State is very small if it exists at all, and they are very well coached. Clemson is not far behind. It's pretty silly to assume either team would be "embarrassed" by any team.

It was also Bama's best offense of Saban's time there wasn't it?

Should have won it last year? Hell no. AU put up 40 something and almost 700 yards on them, then OSU finished them off.

This year bamas defense is legit again. They will likely win it this year for sure.
