I believe there is a 97% chance Auburn is Bama's lil bro

I also believe there is a 9% chance Auburn will win more games than Arkansas over the next 10 years

If you don't factor in about ~30 wins vacated/forfeited, Alabama would be at 879 in #4th all time, and just 2 behind Texas and 3 behind ND, in other words we'll probably passing them for #2 all time this season.

We're gaining about 3-4 wins on Michigan a year, so it'll will still be at least a decade (if not longer) before Alabama could hypothetically pass them. That assumes Bama stays up and Michigan stays down.

This looks accurate.

Before 1973 a school could provide as many scholarships as they could afford to cover. This is why if you look back at the history of NCAA Football you see the same teams winning the NC over and over and over again. They were the richest schools. Bear Bryant admitted more than once that he was such a tPOS that he would offer scholarships to guys just for them to ride the pine for 4 years so they wouldn't go play at his competition.

How is this unfair? Every school had that opportunity. They chose not to do it. Bryant couldn't help that kids would have rather been a back up for him than be a starter for a lesser coach.

Congratulations on your luck, because that is mainly what it is considering Auburn has as many or more wins, undefeated seasons, conference championships and head to head victories over the last 30 or 35 years

Does it sting a little that Auburn has worked it's arse off over the years to be relevant in football and Bama keeps lucking into national prominence?

That's a lot of BS that Bama oversigned and sat them. Bama was notorious for subbing in waves during the Wishbone years. Often playing 50-60 during the 1st halves, QB's included. Commentators used to marvel at it.

BTW, Shug was quite the cheater, but in spite of that, he never won shite in 25 years at awbarn except in 1957. Think of it, a quarter of a century and only one championship season and he never won a major bowl either. A record like that would get your azz fired ar Alabama, but at awbarn they named the freaking stadium after such a loser.

Really the only thing that matters is head to head(Bama) and the last game between the two. (Bama)

That was in the 70's goober, you know, before the internet.

Guess you're too young to have seen it. Doesn't really matter though, Coach Bryant didn't break any rules, he sure broke a lot of awbarner's hearts though.

I didn't realize that the history on the internet started when the Internet did. Sounded like BS and looks like it was.

The Internet is a fascinating tool. You can read about such events that happened prior to it being invented, in case you didn't know.

How would you know?

I think Auburn holds the record for being the little brother to the most schools.
