Yes they are, the SEC leaders chose to have a team represent the SEC in the national championship game no matter what, and they bended the rules, and helped the frotrunner, and the result of that is a lopsided SEC, with the bammers winning everything, and the rest of us just wishing.

I get what you're saying. Teams are only down a TD or so in the Third and it looks really close, but in reality, Bama is just lining up the kill shot that almost always happens. You really have to be explosive (like Oklahoma) to get a lead and hang on. I know most Gumps would rather see Oklahoma and Ohio State in the playoffs than Iowa, Clemson or Mich State. At this point in the dynasty, why would a fan want anything less?
